Reading is food for the soul.
    It really is :)

Ahhh reading, swimming, and the ability to put the heating on - all priceless in their own ways. Well done too for realising that your MH isn't great at the moment and taking steps to treat yourself kindly over it. It's so easy to convince ourselves that we have to just keep on keeping on, and it reakly isn't helpful.
Thank you, yes they are all very important!

I think this must be the first time in ages I haven't got a huge to do list, even just stuff I want to do.  It's a nice change.

We've had a nice relaxed day today.  Swimming was good and I managed to change little miss's lesson while I was there.  She went up a stage last week, but it wasn't showing online for me to find the next class, so that's all sorted now.

Stopped at Mr M on the way home to pick up a few bits, with a panic because I couldn't find my phone.  It has my main cards in it.  Luckily I had my card holder with the cards that I don't normally use, as I just use the accounts as pots.  I could remember the pin for one, so used that.  Found my phone at home thankfully!

I resubscribed to Disney plus so that I could watch the programme hosted by Keanu Reeves 😍.  I was having a scroll through yesterday and there's loads on there I'd like to watch including loads of films I haven't seen for years, so I suspect it will be staying for a while.  I started this afternoon by watching Dead Poet's Society.  "Oh Captain my Captain".  Love that film.  Such a loss Robin Williams was.

I loved Robin too. Keanu also good.

Glad you are feeling better and the heat is helping.

Thank you :)  I watched Speed last night as well.  I've been enamoured with Keanu since I was 13/14.  DH knows his place in that hierarchy :D:D:D

Another lazy day today.  I did declutter a few bits but haven't counted them yet as they've been added to a pile that needs to be sorted to determine where it's going - ebay, charity etc.

I watched the Famous Five today on iplayer.  I was quite disappointed as it was the famous five in name only.  I'm too much of a purist :D  I like the original 70s series!

A family member has been diagnosed with a genetic condition, and it is recommended I get tested for it.  I had a look back through my medical history and think various blood results which would have shown an issue are ok, so I've probably avoided it.  I shall get in touch with my GP in the new year though for advice.  I shall at that point have the blood test for my sugars that I've been putting off for months!  I did spot the weight I submitted last year, and am almost exactly the same this year.  I suppose it's good in one sense, as I did put on weight earlier this year, and have lost it again, but equally I've been the same weight for a few years now so whilst I'm glad I'm not putting on, it's a shame that it's not going down.  More effort needed there!
