I think I just want to go to bed and forget today ever happened! It's been one of those days, and to top it all off, the boiler has just been rescheduled to next week. I took a long lunchbreak to clean and tidy to no avail. I would much rather have had a long lunch break relaxing and resting my foot! At least it's done now and should be easier to keep on top of.
I cut my finger now on a cat food pouch, but at least that means she's eating, and she seems to be on a catch up mission to eat all the food she's missed over the last few days, so that at least is a good sign.

Ouch to your foot. Take care you dont get an infection, easily done on feet.I am sorry your boiler has been delayed. That kind of thing is so frustrating not to mention cold.2

Thank you, I will keep an eye on it. I've used some antiseptic cream on there when I changed the dressing today, so fingers crossed.ladyholly said:Ouch to your foot. It is very frustrating about the boiler. The little heater we bought is great at warming the house, so we're not too cold, but on full it's around 55p an hour, and on half, 27p an hour so not cheap to run. Thankfully it's been quite mild so we don't need it on lots. I miss the hot water more than anything!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". The boiler has been delivered. It's just sitting there teasing me now. I might just fit it myself, how hard can it be?
(Joking of course...). I really hope they don't reschedule again. They've given us a free annual service next year to apologise, so that's something.
Two more days left at work now, and I'm doing quite well with clearing my to do list and inbox.
Have a good day everyone."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Your cat is lovely - love the tinsel photo..We have two rescue cats - Soot & Ash (black mini-panther & silver tabby)- not their real names, but 'stage names' for the purpose of my MSE diary.
