We had a nice day out yesterday.  Freezing cold but bright and sunny.  Funnily enough it had been thick fog and gloom all day at home.

I've done a bit of admin this morning including completing the driving licence application, so will get that sent off.  I've booked and paid for school lunches up til Easter so that will be something I don't need to worry about now til March or so.  They take packed lunch 3 days and have school lunches 2 days.  I must say I love those two days not having to faff about with lunchboxes!

We've put up some Christmas lights and decorations this morning, and will try and get the tree down later so we can get that up as well.
I batch make sandwiches and freeze them so quick to sling into a lunchbox in the morning

Thank you :)  Chilling this afternoon.

    Good.
You would certainly be chilling here 😂🥶
It's warmed up here, but now flooded everywhere!

Hope you get a thaw soon.

Thank you.  The kids won't eat sandwiches, so I can't do that.  It only takes a few minutes to do as it's just assembling bits, but it's another faff in the morning.

It's been awful weather here today with flash flooding everywhere.

Our cat went out this morning, and hasn't come home :(  Little miss is distraught.  Hopefully she's just sheltering somewhere and will come home soon.  I've been out at a meeting all day so haven't been home as I normally would be.  The same tomorrow unfortunately.

Well done on sending the backpay to savings and PB. As you say building a decent EF is a priority currently.

Your December PADs are looking great - and well done on feeding the PBs etc with the backpay money too - who knows, maybe that will give you a bonus in addition to the pay!
