I hope the mince pies passed the test. I bought my first jar of mincemeat this week. There will be several more to follow.

They were iced ones which I've never bought before (they were substituted for the standard ones).  They are fine, but I prefer the standard ones.  Well done on making your own though!

I've done very little today apart from a little tidying and cooking a nice roast for lunch.

I am glued to listening to the latest Strike book on audible, and I've now got 3 hrs left (out of over 34!) so I don't think I'll be doing much this afternoon.  I'm really enjoying it and I think going to be my favourite along with Troubled Blood.  I will look forward to re-reading it on kindle at some point.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

The Strike books got too big for me.
Though I like the TV series.

They are huge, but I really enjoy them (and tend to read them on kindle and audible rather than in hard copy).  I like the TV series too, they have been brilliant adaptations.

I finished the book, and have now done 14 listings to compensate for not doing much the rest of the day.  One for me and the rest for DH.  Fingers crossed for some sales.

    Positive vibes for sales.

I have just finished a sample of Val McDErmid's latest Pirie book.
    Unfortunatly it's £12.99 to buy.

Thank you :)  It's expensive isn't it.  I add them to my wishlist and wait for them to come on offer.
