I'm absolutely exhausted today. I'm so glad work is done for the week. We've got stuff on this weekend, so not much chance to rest, but at least it will be nice to catch up with people.
I need to catch up on some admin stuff too, as there's loads going on in school next week.
DH is going back to work tomorrow as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -

Try to find time for yourself even if its only half an hour. Glad all ok at the hospital and the photo is enough.

Glad the hospital trip went well - hope they are satisfied with a photo next week and that DH's first day back in work goes well. Definitely try and carve out some time for yourself even if it is to do nothing tomorrow while the kids are at school.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Today I've got a few hours to myself which is nice. The kids are in a before school club so that gives me an extra hour or so. I've made a start on some of the admin, and caught up with who needs to be where and when next week. I've also booked and paid for school lunches up to Christmas so that's all sorted.
I've made a start with my Christmas shopping, and on little miss's birthday. I need to pack up the tablet and send it off for the trade in.
I am going to spend some time today just sitting with a book and enjoying the peace."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
