Yes, I much prefer not worrying about cooking in the afternoon/evening! "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

Work has been so intense at the moment as there's a lot of big stuff going on. I came home early today as the office was very noisy and I couldn't concentrate. I did a bit at home, then finished early so I could go and visit family for their birthday.
It was lovely to finish early for once, and because of half term and not having to do the school run it means I haven't lost much in the way of time.
DH is off with the kids and he took them to the seaside and a NT place yesterday so I think we've covered our annual fee now and still have 7 months to go
We sold a few things over the weekend so a few more bits have gone."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -

Sunday roast timing is a funny one. Mum always has hers at 1pm-ish, so I grew up with that, but over the years OH and I have varied ours - if there is something specific we want to get done in the afternoon then I'll often revert to an evening meal instead as it sometimes works better - especially once it hits the time of year where the daylight has gone by late afternoon anyway. A lot does depend on what cooking is involved though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Yes, if we are doing stuff I don't bother, but if we're just at home it's nice to get it done and out of the way!EssexHebridean said:Sunday roast timing is a funny one.
