Handy for someone thinking about upgrading from the free/£5  to  the £15option.
Especially if they need the odd boosted month.
  • Or for what iv done, saving it for my holiday in spain to buy a roaming bundle

Looking at their website there is the option of a £15 topup which is doubled to £30, and also the £15 topup to get a free bundle. So I am not sure if you claim the double topup you also get the free bundle, or if you get double topup if you select the bundle link.  Anyone tried?
  • When you top up £15 you automaticly get £30 credit, you then order the free bundle by email,as the £2 a month bundle, and the £15 free bundle have the same code for some reason

    I'm not sure you get the free bundle and double topup. On their website they are different offers;

  • The double top up is a 1 off promotion for a month only, the £15 free bundle continues untill you cancel it. The free £15 bundle money will be taken as though you topped up £30 instead of £15. That is how i read it.
If still in doubt e mail them

Yes, it worked for me, I did the normal £15 top up link which gave £30 credit and it also updated to the bigger bundle.

I did have to restart the phone to reflect the new bundle.

RWG seems unsustainably cheap at the moment. Is the double top up offer, which they don't really need to offer, a quick cash grab prior to going bust or upping prices? Certainly a very good value service with good back up and customer service from all accounts. Something will have to give eventually, won't it?

Hi, I decided it was too tempting and topped up with £5, which was doubled to £10. Giving me a total balance of £15. (I've been on the free £5 allowance for a year now).
I emailed RWG straight away and asked that now as my balance was £15 could they please move me from the free 50 minutes / texts and 250MB to the larger, free 100 minutes / texts and 750MB.
Fair play, I received an email back quite quickly saying that they had added the bundle for me.
When I check my balance it still says £15 and sending "info ukrwg1" does show the larger allowance.
But previously these allowance texts would say "..... of your RWG UK FREE £5 bundle remaining"
So now I expected it to say ".... of your RWG UK FREE £15 bundle"
But instead it says ".... of your RWG UK teaser bundle".
I understood the "teaser" bundle to be the £2 pr month one, rather than the free. And fair enough I haven't been charged.. yet.
But wondered, anyone who might already be on this free £15 allowance.
Is this usual? Does it call it a "teaser" the same as the £2 paid for one?
