We have wonderful memories of a family trip to Paris where we planned to surprise a brother. Four of us were sitting in a side=street cafe the evening before the planned surprise. Who walked past and saw us? Bro... we all tried to duck, but it was too late.
How do you make a French wine? Squash his croissants! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!5 -

Groan to the squashed croissants....What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?6 -
Ouch, off to a poor start this month. I was given a bottle of whiskey on 27th July, and have been slowly downing it over the last 8 days. 28 units of alcohol works out at less than 4 units a day. If the alcohol is there,I drink it. But in former times I could down the whole bottle in 2 days,3 at most,so I am fairly comfortable with making it last 8 days. Got to get back on track. So, 2/24 please cathybird.I hope to get the sunflower this month for 200 AF days so far this year. Not sure if I will manage my years target of 300 days, but will try!5

Still on 3/21 as I had a glass of red wine tonight. Just the one...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Hello, me again...so woke with a fuzzy head even after just one glass. I looked at the alcohol content because the news is of higher alcohol being taxed higher in future. It was 14.5 so quite high?
Anyway, declaring 4/21 for me today please @cathybirdIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

14.5% sounds high to me. Spirits are 40%....
Anyway 6/30 thanks. An OK gig last night but over hour drive each way, home about 01:45. Cat =^..^= was not amused. Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!6 -
Hello everyone.
6/30 for me today please. Tomorrow will be 3 months alcohol free, which was my initial target. Decided to carry on and push to 6 months, which will be November then see how I feel. I haven't missed the hangovers in the slightest, and actually surprised myself how little I have missed the booze. I'd definitely recommend an extended break to anyone thinking of maybe giving it a go at some point.
Happy Sunday to everyone!Debt free November 20224
