I tried Gordon's alcohol free gin in a bar @cathybird (thought it more mse to sample it before buying a bottle) and it really does taste like gin. 😋
Thank you maman, I will look out for that one. :)

Morning all, 3/30 please. Not much happening on the band front, holiday season and the others are a little younger than I!
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!

Marahouti, I have to thank you for recommending alcohol-free gin the other month, I have tried some and it's really nice! Think I will make it a fixture in the summer from now on because I used to have g&t's quite a lot on long sunny evenings (not that we seem to be getting many of those this summer). Did you have a particular one that you liked? x
I second maman's Gordon's AF gin suggestion. I think Tanqueray 0 is good too.
Declaring early for today 3/25 please. X

    1/14 please Cathybird.

One of the things I've found being on the thread for so long is it helps me if I keep posting. I try to remember that when I feel bad about things. Good luck with August Satchmo, It's good to see you back DoingItAnyway!

2/20 for me today please. Thanks for the encouragement - that's just one of the reasons this thread is so blooming marvellous :-)
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

I like the idea of trying the AF gin but I do begrudge paying the same (or sometimes even more) for the AF version than the ‘real thing’ - maybe I’m taking the MSE ethos a bit too far 😱😱😱

Sukeyboo, I do agree, one of the good things about this thread is all the money saved by not buying alcohol, so even the alcohol-free version is not something I want to do every night, more as a treat if the weather seems right for it. x :)
