I too have been culling games on my phone/iPad. I will now only use my wii, for which most of my games are exercise ones. I started playing step to the beat before Christmas, a walking game and was hitting 5,000 steps a day. No idea why I stopped.

Yesterday evening DH and I popped to the theatre to see the Lavender Hill Mob, a Christmas gift from DH. It was horribly wet and windy but I refused to be dressed like a fisherman so wore my knee high boots, me made tartan shift dress, tights and socks, furry gilet and 80’s BHS red coat. I felt good and appeared to be one of the few who made an effort!

It was funny at the end of the play, we were sitting around the stage, when the group of men and women sitting opposite us moved their hands to clap, all the faces on their smart watches lit up. It was like being at a concert.

I went to local charity shops this morning and dropped off a bag of clothing and arranged to get some furniture picked up that we are getting rid of. I saw a tiny chest of drawers that I bought to fit in this annoying alcove I have in my house. £10.

I came home to find Amazon had left the prince Harry book at my door, well, they brought two books for some reason. I am not interested in reading it so if anyone on here wants either copy I can send it to you. I'm happy to pay postage. Be quick to PM me if you want them as I will probably take them to a chazzer to donate tomorrow.

I was trying not to buy anything for January from charity shops but the shelf fits perfectly in that unused space.🤩

I have booked up a table at the local cafe to meet the couple we know and we are going to see a film at the 02 that weekend too. I am definitely going to get my nails done as my nails looked okay when I did them, but they chipped so quickly.

Hello Ladies, 

I went to see the musical Mandela at The Young Vic yesterday evening and it is such a thrilling, wonderful musical. I got a free ticket from Neighbourhood Voices worth £48. This musical was a 10/10 for me 

Alisha has now arranged for all of the writers, actors and directors to have a free meal at the Sea Containers hotel on Friday evening before the sharing performance of the writers duologues. 

I went to Blackfriars Settlement this morning for the mental health and wellbeing discussion group. It was an informative, lively, discussion. I also picked up my Christmas present and was pleasantly surprised to find that I had a Joseph Joseph set of chopping boards with a storage rack.  My oldest daughter loves this range and I have bought of lots of their kitchen items over the years as gifts for her. I was also referred for a cost of living payment of £100 from Southwark council. Even though I am a Lambeth tenant, as a regular service user at Blackfriars Settlement, they were able to refer me for the payment. I should receive it within 10 days.  They have 15 free tickets for a matinee performance of Mandela from The Young Vic, so I put my name down for a ticket. As I am lucky enough to have seen it already, I just have to wait and see if I get to see Mandela again.

Mrs Catz thank you.  It is standard apparently to wait about 8 months as they usually get over 1,000 plays submitted and they all have to read and assessed by 2 professional readers. I will just get on with my life and not worry about getting on the long list.

@Wednesday2000 I was reading yesterday in the paper that Amazon had a glitch and and that is why some people are receiving duplicates or a spare……..
