Would I be able to join the challenge at this late stage? I’ve got a log of my savings so far this year and would like to make a target of £3k by end of year.

Jan-March was spent saving the final amounts to pay off my HTB loan which I achieved in March.  Amounts for April onwards are as follows:

    April £200

    May £200

    June £50

    July £54

    August £60

    September £1001

    Is that OK?

    #7 declaring £4,907.51 for February.

Bonus was paid this month which was the main contributing factor, also recently got engaged with my girlfriend so now have a wedding to plan and budget for. Finally, also landed a new job which means (hopefully) more interesting work, decent pay rise and more opportunities in general! :)

Deployed some new money to my S&S ISA early in March, but need to keep a relatively high cash balance to account for future expenses mentioned above (plus renovations on the horizon).

    Happy saving all!

    #7 declaring £356.58 for March.

Wedding costs are starting to take a dent in the savings and have a honeymoon to sort as well! S&S ISA contributions will almost certainly be zero for the foreseeable future, at least the pension conts will keep ticking along in the background. :)
Here's my April to July's updates - massive thanks to Suffolk_lass and enthusiasticsaver for picking this up!

New job started in June which has been going well so far. Decided to up my pension contributions when sorting out the new one, so that combined with new salary means a sizeable extra amount going in the pension each month.

    April - £1,679
    May - £1,866
    June - £2,093
    July - £668

August update will follow in the next few days.
    #7 declaring £1,522 for August.
    #7 declaring £1,146 for September

I have given you number 62 and added your amounts to the spreadsheet. My apologies, I really need to read the whole post! I can see you asked to join. I have given myself a good talking to about doing one thing at a time, and not attempting 3 and doing them all badly.

You should be able to see yourself in the spreadsheet now. Here is an updated link

I am back now from my Exmoor walking holiday and many thanks to @Suffolk_lass for keeping on top of updates in my absence.  Lots of good updates and welcome to @Simobla1.

I have added a further £200 to my savings for October so £900 by virtue of opening a new Nationwide regular saver at 8%.  Rates are looking much more attractive now for savers. My Yorkshire regular saver finishes 1st November so the Nationwide will replace this for the next 12 months.
