Morning all, #11 reporting a pleasing £1,325 for October.  Happy with that as I've had an unexpectedly spendy month on car repairs.

#8 After sorting out  the finance for buying my new car and paying for insurance etc  I am left with £200 in my regular saver (saved in October) and will be transferring £500 over to my new loyalty saver with Yorkshire tomorrow.  It will be topped up in the next few weeks  by a £10k withdrawal from my stocks and shares ISA as buying the car in cash depleted  our savings but I am not counting that as just a transfer from stocks and shares to cash.

So for October I can record the grand sum of £700 and will be starting again.  I won't make £12k by the end of the year but may make £5k so am resetting my target.

Huge thank you to @enthusiasticsaver and @Suffolk_lass for reviving this thread.  I can't update for the spreadsheet this year as things have gone a bit haywire this year savings wise.  If you are running the thread again next year I'll definitely join that, in the meantime though I'll follow along here and cheer everyone on.

An extra £250 saved for October so back up to £950. Payday tomorrow so there will be the savings shuffle then.

    Spreadsheet updated.

    #7 declaring £4,907.51 for February.

Bonus was paid this month which was the main contributing factor, also recently got engaged with my girlfriend so now have a wedding to plan and budget for. Finally, also landed a new job which means (hopefully) more interesting work, decent pay rise and more opportunities in general! :)

Deployed some new money to my S&S ISA early in March, but need to keep a relatively high cash balance to account for future expenses mentioned above (plus renovations on the horizon).

    Happy saving all!

    #7 declaring £356.58 for March.

Wedding costs are starting to take a dent in the savings and have a honeymoon to sort as well! S&S ISA contributions will almost certainly be zero for the foreseeable future, at least the pension conts will keep ticking along in the background. :)
Here's my April to July's updates - massive thanks to Suffolk_lass and enthusiasticsaver for picking this up!

New job started in June which has been going well so far. Decided to up my pension contributions when sorting out the new one, so that combined with new salary means a sizeable extra amount going in the pension each month.

    April - £1,679
    May - £1,866
    June - £2,093
    July - £668

August update will follow in the next few days.
    #7 declaring £1,522 for August.
    #7 declaring £1,146 for September
#7 declaring -£349 for October. Pretty spenny month with wedding, honeymoon and someone's big birthday. However had a great time for all three, so 100% worth it. :)
