Just opened the Barclays 4% ISA and shoved £20k in. The rest of my deposit is sat in Marcus until the new financial year. Somehow, I earned less interest in my Marcus account this month than last, despite adding money and adding a bonus interest rate. Go figure.

    £20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**

February is the shortest month, as interest is accrued daily savers typically receive least amount of interest following the month of February.
Oh duh, of course! I'm still thinking we're in January...2022. :D

So sorry I've not been updating for a few months.  My two year old takes up most of my time!  I'd like to take part again this year please Slowly Fading.  Thank you so much for running the challenge.  Will think about my total and submit my missing updates for the past few months.

Following a decrease in savings due to having a baby, I'm pleased to be able to report that as of the end of December 2022, I've built my savings up to higher than they were.
I've submitted forms for January (£261.10) and February (£500.51) and set my target at £2,500.  I don't have a number yet.  Thank you SF, as ever.

#18 reporting in with £2,500 for February and £15,594.33 for March. Trying to get back up to date with savings accounts etc. too, with rates near zero I largely gave up paying attention but feels like it's time to catch up again.
Also managed to pay off my Son's student loans this month, nice to think he won't have to deal with all that any more :relieved:
