Hi Great to see lots of good results and efforts this quarter. And @Brambling thanks for your steady running this thread. I am on my second journey here, but fortunately the starting point is still a lot lower than the first time. I am excited as I managed to loose 3lb this week. Happy days, main means are swimming and running and bicycling to work and staying off seconds and junk food, and limiting alcohol. Have a great Tuesday :-)

Busy week so late reporting, pleased with 0.5 kg loss but somewhat surprised as it hasn’t been a great week diet or exercise wise. 2.5 kg loss isn’t great for this quarter so far, but I guess it’s better than a gain!

1lb loss here, not been as focussed as I'd hoped but things seem a little more settled so hoping to prep / meal plan this week and get on track. Having blood pressure monitor fitted today and although my BP is still high (been doing regular readings) it appears to be lower than it was so hoping I can improve it through lifestyle changes rather than medication. It's all lifestyle changes I should be making anyway!

Well done all.Weigh-day -0.5lb please Brambling.It’s been an ok week. A creeping feeling of fed-up-ness I’ve had to fight, not enough to start tracking and counting again though.This week I shall continue to remind myself of all the goodness I’m eating and my improving fitness and find peace and accept this is going to be slow going.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025
1st quarter - 17.5lbs 🥇

I'm pleased to be able to note a further 1 lb loss.
So that makes me half way to my quarter's target but with 2/3 of the quarter gone.
I live in hope - surely there will be warmer weather in March and a reduced need for calories to keep warm.3 -
All done with the blood pressure cuff, it was certainly not enjoyable and was counting down the hours to getting rid of it! Just got to wait for results now.
Got an appointment at the gym tomorrow to talk about training / programme to start getting fit. This time last year I had nearly completed C25K and went on to run regularly every week until I got completely derailed in June emotionally, stopped doing any real exercise and put on all the weight I had lost. So tomorrow is the start of getting back to that level of fitness and activity - I know I can do it again! Hardest part will be getting to the gym for 7am3
