    -1lb again Brambling !
This is dire and I’m really fed up !
  • @jennystarpepper thanks! I've got food to use up (moneysaving!) before I go really low carb. This week I'm going to stop potatoes, bread and pasta etc with my eve meal,  and have more green veg instead. Plus greek yogurt and nuts for breakfast, instead of yogurt and fruit. Use-up-root-veg soup for lunch. I'll see how I get on with that, and see if it does make a difference. Hope you have a good week!
I agree about using things up, this also helps you cutdown slowly.  I don't do 'full' low carb, but try not to eat higher carb food, or limit them, so no bananas, small amounts of oranges or grapes... I do eat fruit but usually berries, cherry, apples and pears... also limit veg grown under the ground and I have very little caffeine and dairy, if I do drink it is a white spirit with a no carb mixer, I do love a full fat coke!

Lower carb is not for everyone, it's just working for me at the moment and am telling myself this is how I will carry on eating.... it's not a diet I've just changed my habits.  Enjoy your week too.

Checking in with 1lb loss, suspect it would have been more but I self sabotaged over the weekend so I'm happy with that result.  Like Brie, I know alcohol hinders my weight loss but am reluctant to give up completely so need to limit instead.

Gym going starts this week with programme starting from Friday so hopefully that will assist!  Have been doing Aqua Fit weekly which I really enjoy and walking dogs / hitting step target most days so definitely more active already.

    Hello

Welldone everyone. Is Weigh-Day and a STS please Brambling

It’s been a very chocolately week really mad cravings. A better week than last mentally though and I’ve had plenty of movement and exercise outdoors in nature which is always nice.

This week I shall just plod on with intuitively eating rather low carb and attempt to reign in the chocolate consumption somewhat or at least swap the giant milk buttons for a darker less sugar option.

Morning all,  another week rolls by and another 0.5lb off for me.  Hard to believe it's 10 weeks since we started.  I've managed to squeeze in an extra pilates class this week and I'm off with my walking group at 10 so better get a healthy lunch packed 😀

    Good luck everyone
