    • Morning everyone,

Usual Saturday weigh in and I am just the same, I did lose a wee half lb mid week but when I jumped on the scales this morning it had reappeared ☹️

So it's sts for me this week @Brambling - there seems to be a missing 0.5/week in my total of 7lbs lost 🙃

It's that illusive half lb again.......

      bit of a dilemma .....

So first off I forgot how much I was starting off with this quarter......I know vaguely but didn't write it down so.....

Secondly - I know that I've lost some weight (hurrah!!!) but how much???   If I was at a 6 mark (of a stone) then I've lost 4.  Which is grand.  Not as much as is needed but moving in the right direction.  I've got 2 loss logged so let's just split the difference and say it's 3 overall.  SO THAT ME DOWN BY ANOTHER 1 POUND!!!!! (apologies for shouting....)

Next problem....and the timid amongst you may want to look away.....but I weigh myself in the morning wearing my watch.  Cuz I always wear my watch, except in the shower.  And sometimes when I'm using the computer (I use a leftie mouse but have my watch on my left wrist normally (but not always) so if it begins to bother me I take it off).  Anyhoo....so I'm a bit buck when I weigh in.

But Friday morning I had a Dr's appointment.  So got up did the usual and weighed myself (well under the 3 mark), got myself dressed, didn't have my tablets so no water, no coffee, no breakfast, just trotted to the Dr's.  A couple of minutes early so I figured "what the hey! I'll weigh myself and do my blood pressure!!!"  My brain was thinking this will confirm that my kit at home is working ok.  So the blood pressure and HR are as expected.  But my weight!!!?!!?!?!?!  NO!!!  According to their scales I'd lost 5 pounds since I got dressed and drove to the surgery.  Now how likely is that????  My clothes weigh a negative amount??  And we're talking jeans, socks, under bits, shirt, fleece and I was wearing my glasses & earrings - those in themselves must be an extra ounce or 2!!!

I want to think that I'm down that extra 5 pounds but thing that i must just accept that my home scales are a bit carp and that I should stick with what they say for consistency.

Anyways = for now I'll say I'm down the 1.

    • Morning all, starting the week off with a 1/2lb loss please @Brambling. Hoping to keep up with daily yoga and walks, although the weather looks vile this week! I did manage a couple of couch to 5k week 1 runs. I can't believe how unfit I've got over winter. Hope everyone has a positive week!
    • Boooo. I’m back to starting weight.

For whatever reason reporting in here and/or the way I’m doing things isn’t helping me and is making me feel
bad so I’m going to drop out and review. Wouldn’t it be easier to just accept my weight? I wish I could as it appears impossible to change it!

Oh how frustrating :-(  Maybe have some time out, it's horrible trying to drop pounds at this time of year. I find it so hard to get outside if the weather's bad, I want to eat nice stodgy food and hibernate with a glass of red in front of the fire really 🙄
