I used the dryer in yesterdays free hours, todays washing was 2 cashmere jumpers (they were my aunts), they can't go in the dryer so thought it best to use the washer at that time.

Dinner is underway, chicken is in, veggies are all prepped. I've emptied the dishwasher, tidied the kitchen, brought in the garden furniture cushions and put away the garden furniture for the winter. I say put away, it all stacks into itself and then has a big waterproof cover over it. The cushions will get steam cleaned before putting away, may well be a half-term task though as i don't have the oomph right now.

I've sent a shirty email to Boots, I've been trying to resolve an issue with my contact lenses for over a month now and despite calling their customer services 6 times, and each time being told someone will look into it and call me back, I haven't had one call. Fed up of calling, I've moved to the complaints department now :)

I've checked my Monzo savings pots and the interest rates currently are dire (2.75%?) so I do need to look into moving some of my savings. It's a shame as I love the pots but I can get 4-4.5% elsewhere so needs to be done.

Roast dinner has been made, eaten, cleared up and am now enjoying a peppermint tea with the football.

The sun is out this afternoon, I'd love to go for a walk down the beach but still not really got the energy for that. I can hear people cutting their grass but surely its far too wet for that?!
