Thank you all :) Although Blackcats, you know there will be lists!! I may not action them yet but there will be plans made :)

Today I feel much brighter still, I'm dressed and popped over to see Mum for half an hour. I've come home, pottered  bit but literally just carried the odd mug into the kitchen etc, and have now set up camp on the sofa for the day - laptop, blanket, cat, fire is on, footie is on, happy days! :)

Today will be another lazy restful one, possibly I might try a shower later although it's going to be tricky to not get my cuts wet (no dressings on them). Other than that I want to catch up on the boards on here and chill. Possibly a Tesco order may be done.

cling film works well over cuts to keep them dry - of course it means other bits of you won't get wet either but you can at least wash them with a flannel after your shower!

Thankyou, I will give that a try as I can't bear not washing my hair every other day.
So this afternoon I have sorted the travel insurance for my cruise and paid for the wi-fi too. I did get deals on both - insurance was £109 for the year after a Black Friday discount, but I should get £23 back through quidco too. The wifi was 10% off and then another 10% off for Black Friday, so I'm happy with that. I'd budgeted £150 for the wifi and £100 for the insurance, and they came in at £158 and £113 with £23 to come back, so very happy with that.
    266 days to go! :)

Just been checking my holiday savings pot and I already have all the costs and spending money covered :)
That means I can go into the new year not having to think about the holiday except for planning excursions and outfits  :)

    Thanks Tallgirl :)

Yesterday I was quite sleepy so had a pretty lazy one, today I was awake by 5, lay in bed scrolling til 7 then got up, dressed and have pottered a bit - put out the rubbish and recycling in lots of small trips, sorted the fridge ready for a Tesco order to arrive between 10-11 this morning, fed the cat, put some clean washing away and generally rehomed bits that were out of place. I desperately need to hoover downstairs where ds and friend have walked mud through the house, but I can't use the hoover, so will have to wait for him to surface and do it himself later.

Today I want to think about some more financial planning stuff for the New Year, maybe write my Christmas cards and do some bits for work. I also want to eat proper meals as yesterday was some soup then grazing on snacky bits which isn't ideal.

I did manage a clingfilm shower yesterday - I felt quite ridiculous and I understand now why guys hate condoms so much, but it was nice to wash my hair and feel human again.

Glad the clingfilm shower worked!  DH had to do it when he had his knee replacement surgery - that was probably easier to clingfilm than for your cuts!  Having said that when he had shoulder surgery that was as ridiculous as your body wrapping!

So today I have bought a chest freezer for the garage :) I've been thinking about one for a while and I had the money in my household pot, I got a black friday deal, it's being delivered on Saturday and i can't wait to fill it! I mainly mplan to use it for batch cooked meals as well as yellow stickered items and blackberries in the summer for my porridge. I have a fridge freezer in the kitchen but the freezer space is minimal, it holds some veg, some chips, a couple of things like salmon and then as soon as I put something I've batchcooked in its full, which means I end up eating the same meals each day at work. Hopefully this way I can make various soups, casseroles, fish pie, lasgane's etc and rotate when I eat them. I want to take advantage of the halfprice offers on beef / gammon at the moment too as ds gets very bored of roast chicken. I went through quidco so a few £££s to come back via there too.

Freezer was delivered this morning, all unpacked and sorted. They also took away the old one that was sat in the garden waiting to go to the tip, so that's saved me a job :)

I went to Sainsburys this morning and did a shop, I did buy a big piece of beef (£15), a large gammon (£10) and a side of salmon (£9). The salmon will be portioned up and frozen, the beef will be cut in half, half in the freezer and the rest for tomorrows roast dinner, the gammon will be halved, one half frozen and the other done in the slow cooker for sandwiches, ham is getting silly prices to buy in a pack and gammon is much nicer.

Other than that it was payday yesterday - the end of month banking has been done, monies moved between the various pots and spreadsheets all updated. Time now for a sandwich and a cup of tea before the footie starts :)
