Great weight loss. How much are you hoping to lose? How lovely to have another cruise to look forward to.

Aiming for 2 stone Sun Addict - that will take me back to my post lockdown weight which I was very happy with (10 st 10lbs), still sounds quite a lot but it's the right weight for me if that makes sense?

@benbenandme - you say that the weight still sounds high but I always think that the "right" weight for you is where you feel comfortable and your clothes look good.  It's not about the numbers on the scales.

Its frustrating that we are charged so much extra for being solo, but for me it works out at approx £115 per night, which includes travel, accommodation, unlimited food, entertainment, sun ... or I could pay £50+ a night to stay in a Premier Inn here and have rubbish weather, expensive food etc. For me it's great value, and as I won't fly Ihave very limited options.

That's so true, never thought of it that way. I may have to consider it for next year as I really want to go on a holiday

Evening all, week one at work is done. It's been pretty crazy but we made it. Nothing at all planned this weekend - there is barely any proper football on so I have a free weekend. I do want to get some Prolific surveys  under my belt for this month and hopefully find a few bits to put on Vinted. Other than that I'm not sure - the house is still tidy, the weather is looking pretty rubbish, so not sure what the plan is just yet.

Morning, £7 made on a matched bet already this morning, it's been sent off to the holiday pot. I'm hoping lots of little and often bits and pieces will grow the pot nicely.

Food shop done (£45), been to collect my HRT prescription and then went to B&Q and bought some paint, polyfilla and roller and am going to get the downstairs toilet painted this weekend.

Where you are happy is the key thing.  I'm very heavy for my height even when I am a size 10. 'Gosh I would love to be as obese as you are' said my lovely nurse at the medical reviews - I was a clothes 8/10 but obese based on BMI. The SW consultant looked frankly shocked at my weight which still amuses me. Lead weights in my ankles. 

Really interested in your feedback as it was something we were considering, and so pleased for you. Almased is good (2 shakes plus HM veg soup for 5kg week one loss at £20/10 shakes) - but if it stops delivering then injected intervention is the next thing I will consider.

I've just read back through your posts benben and well done on the Mounjaro weight loss.  👍. Like me, you are not suffering from any side effects or 'food noise'. I'm really impressed with this drug so far as I've had a wonderful weight loss!😃 Good luck going forward and hopefully it won't be too long till you've hit your target!
I don't know if you've seen my recent post on my own diary but one thing that has transpired today is that when I contacted my travel insurance provider today about my annual renewal I've had to let them know I'm now on Mounjaro as I have pre-existing medical conditions for which I have been taking medication for a few years. As I get my Mounjaro through a reputable online pharmacy and it hasn't been prescribed by my GP, the insurer wants confirmation from my GP that they are happy for me to take the drug before they will renew my annual insurance. 

If your own doses are prescribed by your GP then you probably won't have to worry, but I'd thought I'd mention it as you've booked your cruise. I'm going away to Italy in a couple of months so really need the insurance done and dusted before I go!

Ooh thanks for that, I'm hoping to only be on Mounjaro for a few months so won't get my insurance until I'm off it Thanks again!
