A cheeky £27 profit from a slots game this morning, already on its way to the holiday pot. There were very few surveys around yesterday so will keep my eye out for some today.
I did get the prep done, the ceiling painted and the walls were given two coats of paint yesterday in the downstairs toilet, I've gone for a petrol blue colour. Most of my house is cream so a pop of colour is quite welcome! Today I need to do a third coat if patchy, if not it's on to the woodwork then it's done.
Today I also want to plant my bulbs (if it isn't raining too much), change the bedding, get some bits on Vinted, see Mum and generally continue trying to get some bits off my summer list done.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

No third coat needed so the first coat has been done on the woodwork, some bits might need a second coat but lots of the skirting board is hidden behind the radiator / toilet cistern anyway so isn't visible. I'll leave that to dry then do the finishing bits later. At least I've accomplished something worthwhile this weekend. It looks like it will be another indoor day as the rain is hammering down again. Does it ever stop?!Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Been to see Mum, listed a couple of bits on marketplace, a couple of card display stands I had that were taking up space in the garage and weren't going to be used again. I put a low price as marketplace seems quite slow these days. Anyway, went for a bath and by the time I got out they've both sold, both being collected tomorrow evening. £15 heading my way towards the holiday and some more room in the garage. Win win for 30 seconds effort. I've also listed the cat bed I bought Boo when I got her, she has never used it. Not so hopeful there though as there are loads of them on there.
The rain has stopped and the sun has finally come out here. I'm doing a 30 minute reset (setting a timer to see how much I can get done), then I will try to get the bulbs planted.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Well that was a game changer - all the bits I've been procrastinating about all weekend are done
Bed stripped and remade, washing machine on, bathroom cleaned, conservatory cleaned, various items returned to the garage where they live, lounge dusted, bedroom dusted, bins emptied, hoovered through. The only bit I didn't get done within the half an hour was mopping the kitchen and conservatory floor.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I have updated my signature to include my holiday pot. The holiday cost £1632 but I have put the total holiday pot at £2032 as I have budgeted £140 for wifi (used it loads this year and would rather have this than a drinks package personally), £60 insurance (that was this years cost) and £200 spending money - I spent around that this time.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

And relax ... quite a crazy week but it's the weekend now so all is good with the world. Someone has just been to collect the cat bed I bought Boo when she was a kitten - it's too small for her now and she didn't use it, we only ever stored toys in it so that's gone, £5 more in the holiday pot and another bit of clutter out the house.
This weekend is shaping up nicely, I have got a code for the Oasis ballot tomorrow, so will be trying again for tickets, then an afternoon of footie followed by going to watch my team as we have an evening kick-off this week. Sunday I am driving to Surrey for a friends bbq although it may well be indoors judging by the temperatures currently. In a bit I am going to do my half an hour timed housework blitz - the house is still pretty tidy, just a few bits to go away, then a good clean. Early night planned for tonight as I'm tired but looking forward to two days off.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
