Yesterday was very productive -bathroom cleaned to within an inch of its life, upstairs all hoovered, 3 loads of washing done, downstairs carpets shampooed, Mums carpets shampooed, various bits finally put away in the garage (been accumulating in the conservatory for ages), kitchen cupboards cleaned and sorted, kitchen tiles properly cleaned, conservatory cleaned.
The plan today was to get up and go for a decent walk however it is chucking it down outside and feels like November, so this morning will probably be spent indoors again. This afternoon is obviously a footie one and then tonight I am supposed to be going to an outdoor cinema event with a friend, however I'm not sure we will go if this weather doesn't ease off - the website says it will still go ahead but it will be thoroughly miserable if it's like this.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

We went last night and had a great time, although it was a bit chilly. Today I was going to do my big bumper B&M top up shop, but when I got there I hadn't got a coin for a trolley so that severely limited my shopping spree
I usually have one of those trolley coins attached to my car keys but the attachment broke before my holiday and I haven't replaced it yet.
I ended up only spending £12 in there, I do need to go again and do a proper shop before I go back to work, I need a new washing up bowl and a box of washing powder amongst other things. I also popped into H&M and M&S and bought a couple of new vest tops and some new underwear.
Home now and I have repotted one of my indoor plants that had outgrown its pot. He looks much better suited to the new pot. I have also stripped my bed and that is now flapping about on the line drying nicely. Time for some footie nowMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

This week is disappearing rapidly, I have met up with various friends this week and done some nice walks, had some nice coffees and generally put the world to rights. Last night I was finally able to do my first weightloss injection, so today is day one of the latest attempt to lose weight. Wish me luck! So far no side effects (1 in 10 people get nausea, d&v). I will keep you updated on how its going. Today I have to go for a blood test - I was invited to an NHS study, had to fill in a questionnaire and do a blood test, I get a £10 voucher for doing so. They also check my cholesterol which I am interested to see as Dad had raised cholesterol levels. This afternoon I'm meeting some friends and going down to the beach to cheer on a friend who is finishing a month long fundraising effort. Her husband has arranged a big surprise, loads of us will be down there to celebrate with her. Then tonight I am meeting up with two other friends for a chat and a glass of wine. Well wine for them, I'll be sticking to water (driving and the diet), so all in all a lovely day ahead.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I also need to do my end of the month banking checks at some point. Yesterday I did the big B&M shop (£80) but this included a big box of washing powder, a big pack of toilet rolls, 80 x sachets of cat food and then various other bits and pieces to stock up the cupboard - toothpaste, shampoo, kitchen foil etc.
I also went and got a load of spring bulbs which I will need to plant before I go back to school, at least then hopefully I will have something pretty in the garden in the New Year.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Blood test all done, bp was fine 120/77, cholesterol was high (7.29) so need to work on that. If anyone else is interested, google Our Future Health - its a nationwide study with the NHS for research into major health conditions. You get to know your bp, cholesterol etc and also get a £10 supermarket voucher for taking part.
She did also say I'm dehydrated - I have done my 2 litres the last few days but need to do it religiously now with the injection anyway. It will be interesting to see how my results change over the next few months.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Had a lovely afternoon at the beach with friends then met other friends for a catchup in the evening. I managed just over 3 litres of water yesterday, ate clean and had no side effects at all. Woke up this morning expecting to be ravenous as I didn't eat after 7pm last night but I don't feel hungry at all, so far this is marvellous
Today I need to go and collect my contact lenses, I have a free trial at Boots. Other than that I will be mooching at home, continuing the last minute countdown of getting everything sorted before I go back to school.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Had a quick look at my summer holiday to do list and I don't think many of the things still on there are likely to get done. Instead, here is what I need to achieve before we go back:
- General tidy / clean throughout
- Cut the grass
- Sort wardrobe/drawers - sort into what fits (rest goes in vacuum bags for now), put summer stuff away (swimwear, shorts, beach dresses, flip flops etc)
- Tidy front garden (still waiting for it to be done)
- Bag up stuff that needs to go back to work with me
- Banking
- Batch cook
- Sort airing cupboard (make space for vacuum bags)
- Plant spring bulbs

September is here and its the final day of the holidays today
I am actually popping into work later for a couple of hours to start sorting things, but otherwise today will be a general pottering kinda day. I have showered, done my lenses (took a while!), hair done etc so I don't feel slobby today. The house is tidy but I want to go through and do another sweep through, maybe a trip to the tip, and start putting some of the summer things away ready for Autumn.
New month for the banking - all monies have been moved to the relevant pots, I have half a tank of petrol in the car still (only used half a tank last month as was away for two weeks), I want to look at the various pots later and check they are all on track. I might also have another look at holidays for next year too
Weightloss wise everything is going well - 4 days completed, no appetite whatsoever and no food noise - hopefully that will make sense to some of you, I literally don't think about food at all. Normally I am thinking 'Whats in the fridge? Cup of tea - hmm, I need a biscuit', whereas with this that just doesn't happen, it's marvellousMy food bill is going to shrink drastically asI am struggling to eat my minimum calories, yesterday I had a protein yoghurt for breakfast, some chicken and roasted veg for lunch and some chicken and salad for dinner, It sounds boring but its working and I'm not missing or craving anything. No side effects to report yet either

Wishing you all the best for the new term. I think you are a very productive and positive person!
.
My second September not being in school and to be honest I still miss it! I always enjoyed the fresh start !
Hopefully your teacher's pension is also progressing nicely!
Take care and best wishes.1 -
Thanks Baron Dale
First day back was nice, lovely to see everyone and catch up on everyone's news. A friend at work gave me £20 for helping out with some dog sitting last week for her, I spent £10 of it on raffle tickets that another friend was selling (her grandson is undergoing chemo), and the other £10 has gone into my old holiday pot. It was emptied when I booked my cruise but I have put odds and ends in there since. I also gather up the interest from my savings pots and squirrelled that in there too, as well as my Prolific earnings (£30), so currently there is £293 in there, I can see another holiday being my next aim
Anyway, back to today, home and changed into my comfies, have put a chicken in the oven to roast, a quick sweep around - dishwasher filled (ds cooked at lunch today), one load of washing on, I want to hoover through then other than that it will be a bath and an earlier night as I didn't sleep well last night.
