Right, I'm all packed, the cat is acting very strange, she knows something is happening and is very sketchy. Realised just now I haven't eaten anything apart from a Freddo since Friday afternoon ... oops! I'm sure I'll make up for it while I'm away

I'm home

I had the best time, absolutely loved it. came home and ds had tidied up, but his version of tidy and my version are stratospheres apart, so I've spent the last hour or two getting things ship shape again. Second load of washing is nearly done (his, haven't started mine yet!), the place looks 90% back to normal and the cat is very pleased to see me

Morning, this morning feels quite autmnal, not the nice warm sunrises I've been used to but instead having to switch the lights on indoors, it's August!!

So far I have put one load of washing in (my bedding), emptied my suitcase and put everything away or in the washing. I've also fed the cat, put the rubbish out, played Wordle, made my bed, folded the dry washing and am now planning the rest of the day.

I need to go food shopping in a minute, then the car has its service and MOT booked for 11.15. Other than that it will be more washing, clean the bathroom, return library books, some general mooching and lots of praying to the car gods that my little car makes it through without costing me a fortune.

Glad you had a good time, I recommend cruises to my single friends - lots to see and do if you want to, you can pick and choose x
