Today has been a nsd :) I have just done my second injection, I haven't had any side effects at all other than more vivid dreams, I can take that! Weigh in is tomorrow morning so I will update you with the first weeks results.
Work was quite bonkers today, hopefully it will settle as we get back into the swing of it.

So I've only gone and booked another cruise :) I have been looking around since I got back and have booked for two weeks next August on the same ship, doing a similar route but with mostly different stops. I got it for £1632 and will get £45 cashback from Quidco :) Time to start saving! :)

Back to school has gone well thanks! We've had the children back for 2 days and it feels like we haven't been away😳
Let's not talk about my to-do list😆 I didn't get as much done as I had planned, I am just so good at procrastinating and left everything until the last week! It was a lovely 6 weeks though😁

We have booked next year's holiday too! Going to Corfu, just for a week which I am happy with as I missed my dog so much this year🤭 The hotel room has a swim up pool to the terrace - that just appealed to me so was keen to book it fast. It's good to have something to look forward to and to get saving for😁

I really need to sort out a new signature!

That sounds a good price for a 2 week cruise.  Is it a river cruise or ocean cruise and where will you be stopping?  Sounds great.

DH has decided he wants to do a river cruise for his 75th in 2026 - of course I've started saving!

I know the feeling Pixie, we;ve had an inset day and one day with the new year 7s and it's been mad! All the other years are back in tomorrow so will be full on crazy, but now I have something to look forward to again :)

I have booked it for the last two weeks of the summer this time, so I come back and literally go to work the next day ... we'll see how that goes :)

JoeDenise - it is an ocean cruise, we go around the coast of Spain, stopping at La Coruna (north of Spain), Alicante, Barcelona, Cadiz, Malaga and Toulon in France. The one I did this year stopped at La Coruna, Barcelona, Valencia, Marseilles, Cadiz and Alicante although I didn't get off at Barcelona or Alicante so I will do this time instead.

Thanks @benbenandme for the info.  Who's that with?

  • Another cruise sounds lovely. That's my ultimate goal to go on one but the single supplement is killer.

    JoeDenise - It's with P&O
Sarahwithlove - I hear you! Its frustrating that we are charged so much extra for being solo, but for me it works out at approx £115 per night, which includes travel, accommodation, unlimited food, entertainment, sun ... or I could pay £50+ a night to stay in a Premier Inn here and have rubbish weather, expensive food etc. For me it's great value, and as I won't fly Ihave very limited options.

Today was official weigh-in day after the first week and I have lost 5.2lbs :) I'm very happy with that, on to the second week.

Today has also been another nsd which was very welcome.
