joedenise said:@VALM - what's BF yoghurt? Most yoghurts now have syns unless they are natural fat free. The choc shot is still 0.5 syns per tsp.
Is the wholemeal bread from a small loaf? If not then there will be some syns to add unless it's one of a couple of 800g loaves which are HEB. They are the Nevilles wholemeal from Tesco and Morrisons own brand medium sliced wholemeal which is the one I use.Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -

After many years of coping with an underactive thyroid/low metabolism, I don't follow any specific diet, but eat healthily and probably average about 1500/1600 calories per day. The usual recommendation of 2000 calories per day for a woman would be a weight gainer for me.
Haven't weighed myself since before Christmas, but feel like I've got a couple of excess pounds to shift....
We do what works for ourselves and this works for me
I have to drop below 1200 cals a day to lose just 1lb per week, and average 1500/1600 cals to maintain. Just the way I'm built - as you say, we are all different.
If you worked that calories out which we don't on SW it is low calorie as the bulk is veg /salad on main meals, i very rarely eat carbs as in potatoes, never pasta or rice even though you can because of diabetes which i reversed on SW
Tonight i have double burgerfree, hexb, part hexa BNS chips & salad speed

Thanks @VALM - think I was being a bit thick there! Should have guessed BF for breakfast!
@Silvertabby - @bubbs is right that SW is actually low calorie but without the calorie counting as you are supposed to have at least 1/3 of your plate as salad or veg. You'll notice that's @bubbs plates tend to be more than half salad or veg which of course is all low calorie food.
Dinner sounds lovely tonight @bubbs. I really must make rice pudding again - not had that for ages! Maybe next time I'm not having both milk and cheese!

Just back from a very beige buffet at SILs. Nice to see family though and BIL was feeling a little better so that was good.Loving all the chatter on here. I’m making SW creamy chicken and leeks later with veg despite DH saying he’s not hungry!Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0

I've looked up the PON bhuna recipe @VALM and will certainly give it a try. I have all the ingredients so it won't be difficult. We've not had curry for ages😋. I'm very impressed with your week's menu. Just one question, where are the syns? 🤔 Obviously, you don't have to plan for them unless you want to but I find keeping tabs on those more difficult than meal planning! 🤣 I like to save mine for weekends but the official SW way is to have some daily.
I agree that the BOB milk tastes just like SS although it's 1% fat. The trouble is it's become so expensive . It's £2.80 in our little Coop, but it is on offer most places at the moment at 2 for £4. It's certainly worth it if you like to drink a lot of milk.
I'm definitely in the camp that takes a break for holidays, Christmas and other celebrations although I think the more you get used to the healthy eating plan the easier it becomes to get back on plan afterwards. The most important thing @SingleSue is that you enjoyed all the extra syns you had. 👍🏼
Hope you were able to minimise the beige food at your SIL's @Coxy11.
Washing on the line today for the first time in ages @joedenise . It was almost dry when I took it in so will just finish it off indoors.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, plums (S), banana (F)
L- cold pork (P), potato and parsnip (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- baked cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), green stuff, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)

Hi @maman I will probably have Syns in the evening in the form of Hifi bars or a Green & Blacks bar but don't plan them in until I see how I feel, if that makes sense?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
