Meant to say earlier that BOB milk is now 250ml for HEA, I know that some use it.   Not sure what it was before but think it was 200ml.
Is that the BOB skimmed milk?  We use that, and it really does taste as good as semi-skimmed.

Oh my, how big are those plates?  I don't think I could eat all that for one meal!

After many years of coping with an underactive thyroid/low metabolism, I don't follow any specific diet, but eat healthily and probably average about 1500/1600 calories per day.  The usual recommendation of 2000 calories per day for a woman would be a weight gainer for me.

Haven't weighed myself since before Christmas, but feel like I've got a couple of excess pounds to shift....

@maman that's good to know, I always found it a struggle deciding between milk and cheese, and splitting it never felt like enough

Will have Wed as my official weigh day so will be signing up then. In the meantime can someone remind me how many oats make up a HEB? I'm hoping it's still 40g as that's what I had this morning. Would also love a reminder on semi skimmed milk and reduced fat cheese HEA allowances as that has completely slipped my mind.

    Thanks!
yes 40g is hexb semi skimmed milk 250ml for 1 hexa and reduced fat cheese is average 40g for hexa

@VALM - what's BF yoghurt?  Most yoghurts now have syns unless they are natural fat free.  The choc shot is still 0.5 syns per tsp.

Is the wholemeal bread from a small loaf?  If not then there will be some syns to add unless it's one of a couple of 800g loaves which are HEB.  They are the Nevilles wholemeal from Tesco and Morrisons own brand medium sliced wholemeal which is the one I use.

  • Hi. Still full of enthusiasm for the plan - I got the PON Enjoy book for Christmas and I’ve made the garlic and ginger curry from it for tonight. 1/2 syn for the mango chutney in it. It’s smells lush and I’ve also made some sw onion bhajees to go with it. I did them in my little waffle make instead of putting the oven on - very MSE - we will also be having plain boiled rice with it.
For breakfast I had 0% yog and blueberries and salad bits with LO ham for lunch
I’m going to have cheese, crackers and grapes this evening and maybe another bitter mint but we will see

Sorry if I've offended you, bubbs.  That certainly wasn't my intention.  I'm just amazed at the delicious looking meals and meal plans on this board, and jealous that they won't work for me.

I have to drop below 1200 cals a day to lose just 1lb per week, and average 1500/1600 cals to maintain.  Just the way I'm built - as you say, we are all different.

@joedenise, BF is my abbreviation for breakfast Lol. I eat Tesco Fat Free Greek Style yogurt.

Also, the bread is the small Warburtons Wholemeal which is HE on App for 2 slices.
