    Hi all,

Had my WI tonight, another 1/2lb on bringing my Christmas gain up to 6lbs, whilst I could have done better, I don't think Christmas will be a time I restrict myself going forward, just need to learn when my enjoying turns to greed.

I'm going to do a food diary this week and hopefully this will see a 3lb loss this coming week, shall post on here to daily to help keep me accountable.

I did catch a glimpse of my tummy from a different angle last night which I did not like at all, my husband noticed how I felt and he's done some research for tummy tucks, it's a lot more than I'd be comfortable paying for any time soon but something that's in the back of my mind for future. Hopefully exercise will help but think that's not going to work miracles! Hate how my tummy was firmer 4.5st heavier. I'm not hugely hugely bothered by it but think it is going to play on my mind.

Should have said fully back on plan tomorrow, going to have a beer later then all the Christmas goodies/baddies are gone

I went to the Company Shop last Friday, very poor show. ☹️ No meat or fish to speak of. I got some veg ( although not as good as veg wars) but little else. Hope you get better luck.

You're right @VALM, a small amount hits the spot!

Well done @beanielou, you'll soon be on your way to another target. 😁

    Morning all,

Still dark here. I'm off to the dentist for a check up - first appointment so hopefully in and out without any delay. The creamy chicken was nice and there's some left as only 2 of us ate last night. I used mini fillets that my Mum bought us on Christmas Eve (she also bought sausages!) Not sure if every Mum does this! I made BNS/Carrot/Red Pepper soup yesterday so 3 in the freezer and one portion out for today.

That's not too bad @annabanana82 - you will soon lose that once back on plan x
Have fund at CS @bubbs - hope you get some bargains x

    Food today:
    B - banana, satsumas, grapes - free, some S
L - HM BNS etc soup, WM roll - S, HEB
D - Szechuan Pork with noodles - free, some S
    HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar (3)

    Have a good day all
    Coxy

Morning all, hairdresser has been already and cut my hair, feels much better as it was getting longer than I have it these days.  Think it was a week longer than usual and it made quite a difference to how much was cut off.

Hope you get some bargains @bubbs, shame you didn't @maman when you went.  I'm off to Tesco shortly to get some shopping - desperately need some fruit as only have a few grapes and one satsuma left!

@annabanana82 - as @bubbs says if you can't treat yourself at Christmas when can you (I treat myself on holidays too) but once you're back on plan it will come off.  It seems if it goes on quickly it'll come off quickly.  Do you think it would help if you posted your daily menu plans like some of us do already?

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge, grapes - HEB; F
    L - LF burger, onions, chips, pickles - S; F; 0.5
    D - chickpea and vegetable curry, rice - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - LF burger 0.5; Skinny Crunch bar 3

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Thanks @joedenise I am going to post my food diaries. I think Christmas will always be blow out for me and I'm okay with that. Holidays I never restrict myself but we always seem to be active enough on holiday that I don't put weight on.

We were talking the other day about how it's far easier to eat healthier abroad than it is in the UK, not sure we'll be having a holiday this year yet as the OH mentioned a new kitchen this year

Morning all & Happy New Year 🎊

Thank you Beanie for the new thread 🫶🏼

Festive WI is 2lb on, not bad but not good 🥴

I have spotted the wagon & am running to catch up 🤗

Have to check syns as ignored  forgotten some 😳

Stockwell granola please, as got some to use up
Tesco fat free natural yogurt- free?

Recommends for something to go with yogurt for breakfast other than oats? Not keen on berries as not filling but could have them for lunch (back to the grindstone tomorrow 🥴) as not much time to eat plus most things bloat me 😤

Will try to post menu but usually a bit samey especially for work!

    Hows Dad Bubbs?
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning all, happy new year and welcome to all the newbies!  Like most I also had a little gain over Christmas (it was a stressful time and my mum and MIL are feeders 😆) but I'm back on track and hoping to get to target by August - only 18.5lbs to go 😳.  Going to continue with my loose following of SW and not "tracking" per se as that's better for me mentally and hope that we'll get there.

Got straight back on track on NYD with a 5 mile walk and a veggie curry 😆.  Definitely feel better for getting more movement back into my routine, even if I ache all over from weights and yoga yesterday.

Breakfast today was fruit salad using up the last of the oddbox bits my mum fobbed off on me that she didn't want (mango, blueberries, orange, half a banana, passion fruit) with some FF yogurt.  Lunch is carrot and coriander soup (using up the carrots from veg wars) with some bread and then dinner tonight is kimchi fried rice with some of the Christmas ham and topped with a fried egg.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hi @TakeItEazy. The Stockwell granola with Raisins and Almonds is 5 syns for 25g. The Tesco FF natural yoghurt is free. I don't really 'do' yoghurt unless it's with overnight oats as overdid it with the mullerlights back in the green/red days!

Good to see you @ruby_eskimo and only 2lb! Amazing!

Good to see you @TakeItEazy and a 2lb gain isn't bad at all over Christmas.    @ruby_eskimo you'll easily get to target by August even with just sticking to SW loosely and calorie counting.

I only really use oats for overnight oats or baked oats unless I just make porridge using water and have with some defrosted frozen fruit.  Sorry not sure what else you could use them with if you don't want fruit.

Made a c*ck up for lunch!  Forgot I was going to do chips rather than having a roll with burger and got rolls out of the freezer so ended up having the roll rather than chips so an extra 6 syns but at least it's still within syns!
