This was quite some time ago.  I can only assume that she had read about some people buying Levo on the black market as 'slimming pills' (very dangerous - a thyroid storm can be lethal if not treated in time) and jumped to the wrong conclusion.

    Morning all

Not sure what i am going to have today, never not have a roast on a Sunday but after having Christmas dinner yesterday think we will have bubble and squeak to use the odd veg up that was left , i have a few brussels in the fridge that need cooking so i'll add them in too .

It's a lovely sunny bright morning here, how long that will last i don't know as forecast for next few days was dire

Earlier this week the forecast was for rain every day except Monday but yesterday it changed to today being dry but rain from mid afternoon so hopefully can get my washing dry before 2pm as that's when I'll be getting it in - dry or not as going to pick up the TGTG magic bag then.

Morning all and Happy New Year!

We went to friends last night. They cooked a chilli con carne and did some garlic flatbread. I had a small portion of chilli and rice plus a 2" square of the bread. I decided to drive as my throat was still sore and my head had started to hurt. Asked DH if we should take some Pepsi Max and he said 'no R has everything' - well yes - full fat Coca Cola! So I had a tea(!) then a large glass of CC, plus a couple of sips of prosecco at midnight. We watched the Sam Ryder show - what a talent he is! Can you believe I've woken up with a headache and DH (who was chumbawumba tubthumping and drinking everything and anything doesn't!).

DS2 had some friends over and they ordered in pizza so I've just tidied up the kitchen of boxes and cans. I've also hung out his washing that he decided to do yesterday and has been stuck in the machine all night! It's dry here too @joedenise so it's on the line for a blow and refresh.

    Food today:
    B - 2 WM toast, 2 tsp jam - HEB, 1
    L - cheese omelette, salad leaves, tomatoes - P, HEA, S
D - roast beef, SW roast potatoes, carrots, brussels, sugar snap peas, YP - P, S, 2
    HEA - milk
    HEA - cheese
    Syns - 3

    Welcome @Silvertabby :)

    Have a good day everyone.

Just had a message from TGTG that Morrisons have cancelled our TGTG bag again!  Think that's the last 3 times they've done that, still at least that means I don't need to go out!

It tried hard to snow here last night but happy to report it didn’t come to much and I’ll get out for lunch shortly with the parents 😀.

Had several G & Ts last night which probably took me over syns but line drawn and back on plan from today. Even DS wasn’t in too bad a state when he came in around 3am 🙈

Enjoy your day all whatever you’re up to.

That's a poor show from Morrisons @joedenise. Not sure how it works, does it mean they don't have the surplus they were anticipating? 🤔

That was a poor experience @Silvertabby, certainly not typical of SW. Sounds like the consultant jumped to conclusions.

I wonder if your headache is because you're sickening for something @Coxy11, you've not been right since that funny turn on the train. Doesn't sound like you drank enough to deserve a hangover.

Nothing like snow here @Jellybaby. It's fairly mild (11 degrees) and the rain hasn't started...yet.😉 My mother always said it was unlucky to do washing on New Year's Day @joedenise, so I'm following the family tradition.🤣

I suppose it's a bit like Boxing Day for you @bubbs. We had bubble & squeak then too. 😋

I have one chocolate liqueur left which I'll eat later but otherwise will be like any other Sunday. Tomorrow, I'll be 100% on plan. I checked and it's 2 weeks Thursday that I have to go to WI. Just one meal out planned at the moment so hopefully I'll lose some of the excess by then.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), tomato, mushrooms (S)
    L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), pickled cabbage (S), cottage cheese (P)
D- JO roast pork (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), many veg (S)
    Syns- gravy 4, wine? 1 chocolate? 🤔
