I know a corker!! Might not be like that next week with a different oven 😂 i am undecided whether i take my ice cream maker as it's bloody heavy!
I was just thinking about how many of your many gadgets you'd be taking with you! 'm sure you can't manage a month without your ice cream. 🤣

More seriously, you'd think with the housing shortage there is that they'd do away with these rules. 🤔
    🤣🤣Actifry definitely.

I just came out the bedroom with a suitcase, dh goes are you leaving? I went yes, as quick as a flash he said can I have your key? Absolutely wetting himself laughing 😂 I goes bloody hell that was quick for you 🤣
This is a person who goes work without a key infact never takes keys if I'm with him or money 🙄

Would be great if they did away with them

Morning all,  another dry day but thankfully no washing needing to be done today!!!  DH is off to golf so I'm going shopping to get the rest of what we need for this week now that I've done my menu plan for February - no doubt there will be changes, there usually is but I've actually tried to do all the meals which will reheat easily lunchtimes so that I don't end up cooking separately for DH when he goes to golf

@bubbs - yes to all 3 questions!  We also have hard water so we've had a water softener fitted but I don't use the softened water for yorkies - just use the drinking water tap which is still hard water.

I agree with @maman I don't think you'd last a month without your ice cream as you have it for pudding every day.  Didn't think you'd need to worry too much about the weight of it as it can just go in the car; I assume you'll be able to park your car by the static?

Didn't end up having a HEB yesterday but did have a couple of drinks but still well within syns.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - jacket potato, tuna, salad - P; S; F
    D - Chicken and chorizo rice - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - none planned again
    Syns - chorizo 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Sorry to hear the food in the hotel wasn't amazing but hope you still had a good time away @joedenise

Agree with the others that you probably need to take your ice cream maker with you @bubbs 😂

Lost 1.5lbs this week which wasn't expected 🤯  Especially with eating at friend's houses Friday and Saturday night.  Oh well, I'll take it 😂 and now have half a pound to go till I'm in the next stone bracket.  Workout done already followed by bacon medallions and scrambled eggs with tomatoes for breakfast.  Lunch is probably going to be some carrot and coriander soup and a slice of bread and dinner will be chicken stir fry for something quick and easy.

Right need to get cracking with some more work.  Hope you have a good day!

Morning everyone.  Fab loss @ruby_eskimo, even better when it's unexpected 😁 and you'll be in that new stone bracket next week.

I'd take as many gadgets as you can @bubbs 🤣

Have to nip into work today to scan some paperwork but other than that hoping for a quiet day as the boss is on leave!

    Today's food:
    B - f/f Greek yoghurt, raspberries, nectarines
L - baked potato, tuna, salad (1.5 syns for salad cream)
D - beef stir fry with rice and roasted tomatoes

    Have a good day all.

    Morning everyone,

I am in the office today so just sneaking on with an update.

Well done @ruby_eskimo on the unexpected loss. Great stuff.

Good luck on the move out @bubbs x

    Food today:

    B – pineapple, blueberries, banana – free, some S

L – speedy soup, WM roll, satsuma, grapes – S, HEB, free

    D – grilled chilli salmon, broccoli, green beans – P, S

    HEA – milk

    Syns – hi fi bar – 3

Have had some awful news this morning that a school friend of DS1’s and Scout of DH’s had died. He was 24. I’m just shell shocked as only saw him recently as he worked at the local cinema we frequent.

@joedenise we only realised this year that Clubcard vouchers can be used towards Royal Caribbean cruise. Does it always take ages for Tesco to process the points?
Absolutely not!  I checked how many vouchers I needed for my Eurotunnel trip and opened the Clubcard site and clicked on the vouchers I wanted to spend, once that was done and submitted I got a confirmation email with a 2nd to follow within 15 minutes - it actually arrived about 2 minutes later!  Then booked the tunnel and used the reference number in the 2nd email and submitted and trip paid for.  Took all of 10 minutes at the most from start to finish!

It's much better now that it is all by email.  It used to be you got the 2 emails and then had to phone Eurotunnel to book your tunnel telling them you were using Tesco vouchers so definitely took longer.

Definitely worth using as many vouchers as you can when they're worth 3 times the amount rather than just cashing them in for shopping at face value.

Royal Caribbean keep saying that the vouchers haven't been processed.

    Afternoon all.

Have skimmed over the posts and there was quite a few!  Didn't come on here yesterday, as it my birthday and we went out for a chinese buffet - it was lovely!  Not very SW friendly, but you only get one birthday a year!

Am just waiting for an Iceland order to come, have ordered some of the SW quarter pounder burgers, as there have been good reports about them in group.

Has anyone been watching "The last of us" on Sky?  Only been 2 episodes so far, but it seems good!

    Anyway, will speak soon. xx

Happy Belated Birthday.  xx We are watching "the Last of Us.  MRM used to play the video game.  It's very tense, isn't it?

@bubbs, we had a Sunday dinner yesterday too but my Yorkshire Pudding cost me 7.5Syns (Aldi frozen ones).  I am making an effort to count all my Syns.  Our Consultant has a little sheet you can take that has 105 squares on it so you can cross the Syns out as you go along.  I even accounted for the drinking session on Friday and the fall out on Saturday and think I am only 2.5Syns over for the week.  Being extra strict now until WI tomorrow night so meals:-

    Today
Breakfast Tesco Fat Free Greek Yogurt and frozen berries
    HEA 25g Double Gloucester
    Grapes - free
Lunch:  Goan style tortilla - Free - Chicken noodle soup - Free
Tea - Cantonese lemon chicken - Free
    HEA 2 x Gouda slices
HEB 2 x Hi fi bars

Tomorrow will be the same as I'll make enough Cantonese chicken for tonight and tomororw to eat after WI.
