Oh dear @bubbs, backward steps is the last thing you needed. Are you visiting tomorrow? 🤔
Hope your evening went well @Coxy11. 🤞 you'll be OK for WI.
I think we're all getting back on track after Christmas gains @VALM. This thread takes a realistic approach to SW. You'll soon be at your next shiny. 👍
Well done on sticking to your exercise programme @ruby_eskimo. It's hard when the weather is so cold and gloomy.
I'm organised for tomorrow @bubbs. I'm doing the chicken bhuna again, meat is marinating and I've got the bhajis ready.
I did my meal plan and shop today. Just hoping to maintain as I'm working my way through what's left of my Christmas chocolate, a little bit each day.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- LO ham hash (P, F, S), egg (P), pickled cabbage (S)
D- chicken 'supreme' (P, S, HEA2), potato cubes (F), carrots and green stuff (S)
Syns - cornflour 0.5, mustard 0.5, weekend wine 😁

Morning all, I'm back! Got back about 8.30pm last night - the flight took extra time due to head winds so were a bit later than we ought to have been. It was lovely to have a week of warm weather but glad to get back for some hot food! Everything at the hotel was lukewarm so not the best. The only hot meal we had was one where we went out to a local restaurant but that of course added to the holiday spends which hadn't actually been budgeted for so I'm going to moving money around in my "pots" to cover that - but that can wait until I need to get the other laptop out!
I'm sure I'm going to be in for a big gain this week but haven't weighed yet, will do after breakfast as that's the time I always weigh so it's a fair comparison with SW scales.
Well done on all your losses.
I really can't believe what is going on with your dad @bubbs! As @beanielou says you could not make it up. The hospital seem absolutely useless.
Glad your DH's arm has healed well @maman. Is it really 6 weeks ago that it happened - time definitely seems to fly by the older you get!
I'm back on plan from today:
B - porridge, frozen fruits - HEB; S; F
L - 2 pea soup - S; F
D - HM faggots; mash, green veg - S; F; 3
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - faggots 1; gravy 2
Going to try and keep low syn this week to try and shift a bit of the gain. Will definitely be cutting back on the alcohol after this last week!
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hi all, just jumped on to report a maintain at WI this morning. Will need to read back but hope you’re all well and you had a lovely holiday @joedenise
Gave myself a good talking to driving home today so full menu plan written for the week (I usually only do dinners and decide other meals each morning when I update on here but have now added breakfast, lunches, snacks and any treats).
Had banana and coffee at group, lunch was a bagel thin with roast ham, salad, pickles and spaghetti bolognaise for dinner. Will use second A for Parmesan. No alcohol planned tonight 😇

Evening all,
A 2lb gain for me this week?! I know I had curry last night but I wasn't drinking only had sparkling water. TOTM still not arrived but really sore breasts and cramps and temper is short!! Well done on the STS @Jellybaby x
I have been to Aldi for the weekly shop and have planned our meals. I too tend to choose breakfast and lunches on the day itself. I've plenty in to have good choices each day, so no excuse.
We are, however, out for an Italian meal tonight for DS2's birthday which is tomorrow but he has plans with GF then. I am going to have either grilled chicken or salmon I think.
Welcome back @joedenise glad you had a good time in the sun!
Oh no @bubbs - so how long will you need to wait until you hear. Did they ever find Dad's teeth? Sending hugs xx
Today I've had 2 hi fi bars (HEB), 2 mini babybel (HEB) some biscuits and a bag of crisps!! DSis and DBIL were here when I got back from group so had a cuppa and some biscuits with them then a quick bag of crisps before shopping. Needed to get a move on as the day was running away with me.
Have a good evening all.

Well done Jelly
Coxy booooo, we will sit on the naughty step together 🤣 no didn't find his teeth! Dentist can't see him till March as he is a mobile dentist for hospital/care homes etc and needs a 3 hr slot because he has to travel, but he will see him where ever he is at the time.
Welcome home Denise, if i have hot food i want hot food not luke warm!
Well didn't get back from hospital till 6.30, picked Chinese up on the way 😋
Was a good visit 👏👏 he looked really well, soon as you get there he puts his hands out either side so you can hold his hand, he snatched them away today and your bloody freezing 😂 we said it's cold out there! He ate half the soup mum took, a biscuit and 2 choc buttons, my sister sent a load of dairy free stuff up and he wanted another biscuit Mum said after tea, he ate all his tea , pudding , another biscuit and 3 drinks👏👏
Mum asked him if he remembered what was said yesterday about the home, so i jumped in and said you need to eat all your food, drink your drinks, put some weight on , get strong so you can walk and then Mum can look after you at home, yes he said.
When he calls out he says , excuse me, excuse me, Mum said what do you want? he said i want you 💓 Mum said you know what you have to do then eat your food.
Yesterday he told Mum there all mad in here 🤣🤣
Food
Banana at group
soft pitta with bacon, egg and mushroom in, tomato on the side, pear and satsuma
Tea chinese 12.5 syns and bns chips
Just going to put ice cream in

You did well to get STS @Jellybaby. 👍 I think it's a good idea to write a meal plan, especially for shopping as you only buy in SW friendly food.
Shame about the gains @bubbs and @Coxy11. I think yours is probably water retention @Coxy11 but yours is a mystery, as always, @bubbs. ☹️
Good to see you back @joedenise. Shame about the luke warm food.
I woke up with a cold this morning. Not sneezing or coughing but heavy eyed with a tight chest and sore throat. I've probably added to my syns by sucking throat sweets. ☹️
I tried the bhajis @bubbs but they were a bit soggy bottomed! They tasted good though so I think my muffin tin is too deep. I'll try making them smaller with a patty tin or baking tray next time.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried egg (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- JP(F), prawn cocktail (P, S), salad (S)
D- chicken bhuna, rice onion bhajis (P, F, S)
Syns - LTL mayo 1, half crunchie 2, weekend wine 😁0 -
