Gosh @neveah I hope you're doing okay, sounds awful. Fabulous weight losses there, well done xx

The SW speedy tomato soup was almost a disaster. I put all the ingredients in my soup maker and after about 20 minutes could smell burning. Turned it off. The pickled onions were still whole but slightly shredded. I poured the soup out into a bowl and some freezer pots (made 4 portions) but there was a thin layer of burnt on the bottom of the soup maker. Currently soaking it, and it should be okay but glad I rescued it when I did. The soup was nice, a bit thicker than I usually make, but no bad thing. Will freeze the other portions.

Afternoon all, the mention of pineapple has just reminded me I have some in the fridge which I'll go get as soon as I've sent this!

Fab losses at @neveah but hope you're OK.

    Today's food:
B - bran flakes (HEB), f/f Greek yoghurt, banana
L - ham, tomato and onion omelette, 1 tbsp chilli jam (2 syns), pineapple to snack on
D - chicken curry with rice, green beans on side

Hope you're all having a good day.

I'm assuming A&E on Christmas Day @neveah! Nightmare! You're obviously back on track now with great losses. Well Done! 👏👏👏

I've never thought of rice with meatballs @ruby_eskimo, we always have pasta. I add couscous (made up) to my turkey meatballs. It gives a nice texture and stretches the meat.

Thank goodness you smelled the  burning @Coxy11. Glad to hear you rescued the soup though. 👍

Enjoy your pineapple snack @Jellybaby. It's something I rarely buy, I'm lazy when it comes to fruit.

I'm shocked at the performance of your local hospital @bubbs. Have they an alternative suggestion for your dad? 🤔

Football tonight and I've got about 10 syns left until Thursday. I'm feeling a bit bloated but should STS although won't know as won't be going to WI yet. Based on last week, I need more 2 day weekends. 😁 3 high syn days is probably not enough to lose.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- ham (P), fried vegetables and pickles (S), potatoes (F)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P, F, S), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns - half Crunchie 2

    Evening all

Nevah hope you are ok? Well done on your loss 👏👏

Coxy wonder what caused that? hope the sop maker is ok? and glad you rescued your soup.

Maman, just spoke to Mum, she said they will know if the home is taking Dad tomorrow. When she went yesterday Dad was dressed and sitting in the chair and looked really well, the male auxiliary had given him a wet shave and was sitting with Dad when she got there , although his clothes looked like a sack, he has lost more weight since 2 weeks ago 😫😫 he was 8 stone, now he is just over 7 :( i'm coming home he said, she said sorry you are not or they have not told me you are, you have to get better first so i can look after you,  but he is eating all his food now and Mum took some soup in today , he said what's that? 😂 Mum said lentil soup, he said oh and ate it all and they said he ate all his lunch , he ate all his tea although was being lazy and said to Mum you do it (feed him 😂) but slowly and not too much at once, Mum goes i know , i know 🤣

So if they take him i said to Mum that will be another performance with him, but she said she will just say the same again, you need to get better so i can look after you.

The doctor gave Mum some tablets and asked if she needed sleeping tablets and she said no, i am sleeping better than i was.

    Food today

    Ham and melon

carrot and coriander soup, speed, cheese and ham toastie hexa and hexb

Casserole, syn free, yorkshires 2 syns

A 2 and a quarter pound loss this week on the home scales. I'm chuffed with that, I'm now into the next weight number at home, so hopefully it will be close to or in it at the next official weigh in at SW next week.

Had quite a few compliments over the last week over the weight loss, always great and a big boost when that happens.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Well done @SingleSue on your loss. I'm a loser this week too 😂 1lb lighter on the scales which I'm happy about considering I'd went over my syns one day last week and last night I was out for a meal with friends but tried to make good-ish choices. I don't think I've quite lost enough weight yet for people to notice but looking forward to those compliments when they happen! Just 0.5lb away from my half stone award and 2lb before I get into the next lowest number on my scales. Hoping for that first one next week.

Morning all, a very wet and windy morning here.

Fab losses @SingleSue and @cherry_22. Compliments are lovely and a great motivator too.

Hope you get good news today about a place for your dad @bubbs

Last night's curry was lovely and made so much there's four single portions in the freezer.  Does anyone else find this with SW recipes? There's either loads or sometimes a bit watery (although it may be my cooking!).

Out for lunch today with a work friend to a cheap and cheerful pub grub place.  I've been before and it's fairly SW friendly.

    Today's food:
    B - f/f Greek yoghurt and fruit
L - gammon steak, baked potato and salad (if menu hasn't changed)
D - beef stir fry, loads of veg, noodles (DS cooking but will need to check syns as I think sesame oil may be used)

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on the losses @cherry_22 and @SingleSue. 👏👏👏

It's a great boost when people start to notice too. 👍

I agree that SW recipes can be a bit watery @Jellybaby but like @bubbs I generally just adapt 'resl' recipes, sometimes it's no more than using Frylight but almost always adding extra Speed. 😁

I cook most recipes using ingredients for 4 with meat for 2 which leaves me with at least 1 meal of LOs. 😋

Glad you're OK @beanielou. 🤗 Do you have one of those walkers with a seat? They look like an excellent idea.

Our dinner was very similar to yours tonight @bubbs. Lovely to have some comfort food.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- ham (P), home fries and pickles (F, S)
D- sausages, chips, baked beans (F), carrot chips, onions and mushrooms (S)
Syns - Aldi skinny sausages 1
