Glad you are ok Beanie
how are you getting on? Mum uses sticks, but uses her walker if she's out, out (like for a day)
Well just spoke to Mum she said Dad looks really well BUT they have taken the catheter out today and he has still not passed water, so they keep scanning him, as this is why he went in in the first place.
Mum told him today he will be going to the home, I am bloody well not he said, she said i am sorry you have to, to get your walking better and put some weight on then i will be able to look after you when you come home. Not bloody going he said 😳
He has eaten all his meals 👏👏👏

Morning all,
Another day in the office yesterday so no posting from me. Had a bath straight after dinner last night and got into my PJs. Just find the travel really knackering now – don’t know how I ever did 5 days on the trot!
Not sure what caused my soup maker to burn as the ingredients and stock came up to the max level so definitely not too little liquid. I soaked it with hot soapy water and gave it a scrub and it came up fine. Will need to keep an eye on it I think.
Well done on your loss @Singlesue, that’s amazing xx
Well done to you also @cherry_22 – fabby – and so close to your first shiny yay!
Yay to 1.5lb @VALM – great stuff!
Hugs to you @beanielou xx
Hope your DDad has managed to ‘go’ @bubbs. Worrying about the weightloss but hope when he gets moved and settled into the home they can bulk him up. Will he be moved today do you think?
Food today:
B – grilled bacon, poached egg, mushrooms, tomatoes – P, S
L – Soft pitta (finally….), crabsticks, LTL mayo, satsumas, grapes – HEB, 0.5, some S
D – SW peanut butter chicken pasta (from new Fast Feast book) – 2.5
HEA – milk
Syns – hifi bar plus 3 so 6 total
Have a good day all
Coxy

Hmm I lost the plot last night. Had a glass of wine with dinner (bad idea on a school night 😒) ended up having another then the munchies set in later. I can't even begin to count the syns. Sooooo annoyed with myself but drawing a line and we'll see what the damage is on Saturday.
Today's food:
B - Kvarg (0.5 syns), nectarines and raspberries
L - three Aldi rosemary and onion sausages, beans, toast (HEB)
D - steak, potatoes, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes
Hope you're all having a good day.1 -
It happens @Jellybaby. ☹️ Your menu today looks excellent so you're doing all you can to put it behind you. 👍
I think the one positive from Covid is that it's accelerated the trend for WFH @Coxy11. Possibly another is that people don't waste time (or damage the environment) flying to meetings when Zoom or Teams can suffice.
Good news is that DH went to the fracture clinic today and they took the cast off his wrist! 😁 He still has a splint and exercises to do but it's healed quickly in just under the 6 weeks.
I'm hoping that your dad can regain the weight @bubbs now that he's eating better and they seemed to have stopped giving him non dairy foods. 🤞
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
L- tuna jacket with spring onions (F, P, S), tomatoes and pickled cabbage (S)
D- Austrian ham hash (P, F, S with HEA 2 cheese topping ), cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Syns - LTL mayo 10 -
Weirdly I didn't fancy any breakfast so only had 2 satsumas. Soft pitta with crabsticks and ltl mayo was lush.
Don't worry about the slip up @Jellybaby your meal plan today looks great.
Great news about DH's splint @maman - I bet the list of blue jobs is mounting up lol!Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings1 -
Afternoon all
Not heard Dad has gone, Mum said she will let me know if he does, but very much doubt it 😣 it iss worrying about the weight loss in such a short space of time.
Maman i am so sorry completely forgot about your DH's arm 😱 Glad he has had the cast off and it's healed well. I also hope Dad can re gain some weight.
Hope Denise is having a good time.
Jelly whoops! what is done is done, no point dwelling .

Lunch i had prawn salad, 1 syn for lighter than light mayo
Tea, chciken and mushroom curry , 2 syns ,egg fried cauli rice, bns chips and considering making some onion bhaji, also considering making a cheesecake for pudding
