Good news about getting the car back so quickly @bubbs. What was wrong with it?
You are right @beanilou, the SW recipe for carbonara does use fromage frais.

Personally, like @joedenise and @Coxy11, I prefer mine more cheesy and my DH doesn't like eggs so mine is more a cheese sauce.
I decided to make a hotpot for tonight @Coxy11. I do hope mine turns out OK. To be honest it was a bit hit and miss as I hadn't labelled the lamb in the freezer and suspected it could have been beef so had an alternative beef hotpot recipe just in case. Fortunately it was lamb after all. I decided to throw caution to the wind and put it in the oven. My smart meter tells me it'll cost about £2 to cook it!! 😒
It's always the case when you start back on plan @Matron_Midge that there are synful things to use up. I wonder what's in the moussaka to warrant 22 syns! Well done for fitting it into your allowance.
I'll be interested to hear how the Zoom meetings go @cherry_22 . Are they interactive? 🤔
We got out for a good walk this morning. Pleased with the Body Magic but also getting DH out as we haven't done much but stay in and eat since Christmas. That's except for football but that's been so awful I'd have rather been at home! 🤣 I did have a bite of Crunchie at the game last night. It was only a fun size between us though, not that the full size is much bigger these days.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- Spanish omelette (P,F,S) pickles (S), ham (P)
D- Lamb hotpot (P,F,S), cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Syns- cornflour 10 -

@maman yes they look like they are interactive sessions. For the new member chat everyone's mics were disabled but you could have camera on if you wanted. There was a messaging facility too which lots joined in with and the host was very responsive to questions. Looking forward to the easy lunches one next.

Morning,
Glad you got on okay with the automatic @bubbs and great new that your own car is ready. Hope the bill isn't too eye-watering x
Hope you enjoyed the hotpot @maman. I used the stated amount of water @joedenise so perhaps that was it? DS2 had his portion for lunch yesterday as was working a late shift the night before. I told him to drain off some juice and add brown sauce!
Had a tetchy phone call with my Mum last night. Have spent the last few weeks sorting POA for her and finally sent them off on Weds (special delivery £15!) and have been advised she could claim attendance allowance as she's over 80. I was talking about it to her and she had a right face on her! I mean - it could be a little bit extra to help with things like a cleaner or taking a taxi to medical appointments etc. I wonder why I bother sometimes, so ungrateful! And breathe.....
Food today:
B - poached egg, 1 WM toast, banana - P, 1/2 HEB, free
L - BNS soup, 3 corn thins - S, 1/2 HEB
D - sausage jambalaya - free
HEA - milk
HEA - mini babybel
Syns - hi fi bar
We are seeing the new Avatar movie tonight. Might need a nap beforehand as it doesn't start until 8.15pm is is 3+ hours long eeek!!
Have a good day all

Morning all, glad to say I got most of the washing dry on the line yesterday; just the towels and one of DH's jumpers that didn't dry but they should all be dry by now so can get those put away as well. Need to move the towels as they are actually hanging on the shower rail so can't get in the shower until they're moved!
Nothing much planned for today although need to pop down to see my friend as still have part of her dog's Christmas present here! No I didn't buy it she did but didn't want to have it in her house while her sister was there over Christmas as it was a ball and her sister is blind and mentally disabled and can't understand that it's not a good idea to not throw balls indoors! It's still in one of my cupboards and I keep forgetting to take it down - good job dogs don't understand anything about Christmas!
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
L - celery soup - S; F
D - Fakeaway KFC, chips, corn, beans - P; F; 4.5
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - instant mash 4.5
Have a good day everyone.
