Comfort is far more important than what the size label says!  Don't think I could risk dungarees these days - often need to get to the loo quickly (TMI!)!

Great news about your dad @bubbs and also about the dentist. Does that mean he'll be able to go out from time to time? 🤔

    Morning all,

Issues with VM yesterday meant an early finish as need wifi to WFH. Finished around 4.45pm. We went to see Allelujah - not quite what I was expecting! Had a Nandos after - butterfly chicken, spicy rice and mixed leaf salad - 5 syns.

Have made overnight oats to take to work with me today. Used a frozen mixed fruit topper of mango, strawberry and pineapple. Froze the rest in a little unmarked bag so that will probably be mistaken for mixed peppers and added to a stir fry at some point lol!. Also have a portion of lo massaman curry to take in. Dinner will be sweet potatoes loaded with smoky turkey chilli. We have an Asda delivery today that DH will deal with. Didn't get time for normal food shop at the weekend and we are running out of basics so this was a compromise. Quite expensive as ordered laundry tablets and DW tablets.

Love the sound of the dungarees - my DH would also be suitably unimpressed. I had a lovely buffet dress given to me - size 10 but roomy. He hated it so I charity shopped it. Not like he's a fashion icon or anything! I too have a mix of sizes in my wardrobe as shops vary so much.

Great news that DDad has settled well into his new accommodation @bubbs. I hope he continues to thrive. xx

    Have a good day all.

  • Morning all,

Glad your Dad seems happy and settled @bubbs

Started the day with a 2 mile run, glad I didn't realise it was raining before I was ready to go! A little damp but glad it's done and out the way.

Hair cut today, not sure just what I'm having done should have thought about that before now...

    Meal plan for today

B: baked oats 1 syn hexb
    L: Most likely soup free
D: Tagliatelle carbonara - fancied fresh pasta and they had no spaghetti free/hex a

As I'm at my mum's this morning there will undoubtedly be my syns for today. My mum's house is my trigger point.

Rats - just lost my post so will just report a loss of 2lb at WI last night, now if I could only get rid of the bloating I would have lots of room in my waistbands.

Have a great day all, hope no-one gets too wet.

Well done on your 2lb loss @maddiemay! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼That really is excellent considering you don't have much to lose.😊

I had a 'fat day' yesterday, sometimes bloating happens for no apparent reason. Feeling a bit better today. I think sometimes it's all the vegetables and fibre we eat.

We have Virgin Media too @Coxy11. It's been a right PITA lately. Yesterday it was just running really slowly but last week it cut out altogether for hours. Seems ironic that it's worse than ever with the prices being increased.

Does your mum actively encourage you to go off plan @annabanana82 or do you just fancy some of the synful stuff she has in her cupboards? 🤔 I always find it hard to refuse when eating in in someone else's home. It can be even worse than restaurants.

DH decided it would be good to go out for a walk in the sunshine yesterday. It was really lovely but left me a bit short of time to cook the hotpot. I did manage it though and it was delicious. 😋

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs, ham (P)
L- LO hotpot and veg (P,S,F)
D- liver, bacon (P), LM sausage (F), 'breakfast' hash (P,S,F)
    Syns- None planned!

DH did announce that he'd put some 'extra' spread in the scrambled eggs this morning. I didn't know that he usually uses any! Fortunately, I have 30+ syns going spare today but must make a note next time scrambled eggs are on the menu. They were delicious though. 😋
  • @maman, no my Mum I'd really good, she's followed SW in the past. Just habit of dipping into the biscuit tin, I revert to a child when I go there. She says she did exactly the same when visiting her parents
