Morning Peeps,
hope you are all well as we head into November. Where has this year gone?
my Tilly tidy for October produced £79.96. I have definitely done less spending on unwise spends and have been brave in moving larger bits of money by rounding up to £5 and once up to £10. It gives me more going forward though when looking on where and what spends will be done for Christmas.
This time next year I won't be having the part time income that I have now as am working on finishing my career. Just need to be brave and hand in my notice and there will be no income until I am entitled to my state pension which is 20 months away. I need my pots of budgets to be as healthy as I can get them to be, as they will need to last.
Keep on doing what you are doing. Stay safe.

2 Scratters xxyey! great, im glad you will be contining next year.I have just been looking at how i am going to make this work for me as i have quite a few accounts! i think i will actuually make 2 TT accounts i have a 4% account not doing anything so i will start off declaring 80pand with my other bank i have a 4.1% account . So thats my plan and then at the end of the month i will combine these and use the money to pay a little bit more off the mortgageTT1 ~ 80pTT2 ~ 5.20i think will be the simplest way for me, otherwise if it too much faff i just wont do it!!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Morning Peeps,
just popping in hoping you are all keeping safe in this naff weather.
I've just popped to my Nationwide account front page as you can now actually move money without logging into the app. £29.53 is the balance so far this month. It would appear I have been moving what I call big numbers i.e. £4 and change rounding down to the next £5. This doesn't happen very often but can make a bit change later in the month. I'm not expecting anyone to get to this point just yet, it has taken me years.
I seriously believe the banking system available to us who struggle in particular is now far more customer friendly when treading water and keeping our heads above the water. (I know there are some banks who are ruthless with human beings) I have a problem with the Nationwide at the moment as my granddaughter has a current account with them - she is 13. YET! they won't allow her to have a savings account until she is 16 and they claim to be a Building Society. I'll keep you posted on that one.
Have a good week

Morning all,
It's week end and the total tidied away was £24.75.
2Scratters, hope you get things sorted with the N'wide, they definitely seem to be on the downward spiral at the moment.

Morning Peeps,
the saga of Nationwide and a savings account for my granddaughter continues into stupidity. She now needs proof of ID for a 13 year old!
The logic of this evades me I get it for a bank account but a savings account? As an adult we can just open it up on line.- I finished November with £35.17 and have moved it to a savings account with the scrouges of Nationwide who are paying 5.5% but I can only put into that account £50 a month. (I do also have their new 8% savings account too) its what we have to do for some better rates back.
Have a good week all
