I need to buy petrol later and pay for hospital parking. While it’s not going to be an NSD, I’m focused on the rest of the week and seeing how many I can manage…have surprised myself so far!
Fuel can definitely be excluded and the hospital parking sounds like a necessity so it would be reasonable not to count either expense, unless you really feel you should? x

12/18  for  me  today  thanks  cathybird just  back  from walking  dog  gonna  plan  what  veggies  to try  and  grow  this  year in my  raised  beds   fancy longstem  broccoli  as its  tasty   versatile  and  bloomin  expensive  and   i'll sort  through  my  seeds
     thankyou
I've grown broccoli before and you do need nets because pigeons absolutely love it and will strip the plants down to stalks if it isn't covered! That was the one problem with it that I had. Otherwise it was lovely. They love gooseberries too, my gooseberries are netted all year round basically.

Thank you @cathybird I was thinking I should as I know it’s flexible as to what can be included and not, I’m trying this month on the basis that if I spend anything at all that’s not an NSD. I am being ‘hardcore’! Just to see how I get on. I was thinking next month to possibly try and only spend on days direct debits/standing orders leave my bank - just thinking aloud, sorry. For my own records I could have NSDs and ‘EOS’ - essential-only spends - thanks for being so thoughtful to let me know x

Edited to add, after an all-too-familar lack of space on a hospital car park, I’ve ended up in a nearby street and not paid anyway. Typically I now have chocolate on my mind but will be resisting with all the willpower I can muster!
