Just a quick update from me - 3 pansies, 2 kitties and a few random stitches. Then the final backstitching and I'll be done.

Well I finished the 3 pansies, 2 kitties, the random few stitches and the backstitching.....however I wasn't done lol. When I took it off the frame I realised how many more bits there were. Odd bits of backstitching, some completely missed individual xstitches, quite a few loosish stitches to pull through to neaten the front. Kept finding more little bits of backstitching to do. Got mr d to check it and I think I've finally finally finished!! After many years ago starting this, years of no time to complete, refinding it in a bag and a concerted effort since spring and yeah, its done. Luckily I find i really like it. Hope it shows if you just keep going all the wips on this thread will get done too

Well done Daisy, that looks amazing so vibrant. I’m so glad you like it too, sometimes when you’ve been working on something so long I can find I fall out of love with it. You’re so right all those stitches add up to something magical.‘One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things’ said Mole.Cross stitch cafe TaDa Enjoy the Little Things, WIP Love cats, ‘A Year in the Life of’ HSC July-December and The Seasons graphic sampler. I’ve actually stitched even more since this. Finished number 6 and now on number 10.

Latest update, think I might stitch the name, date and weight next. The borders stitch up quickly. Great finish @daisy_1571 I love that design - are you going to frame it yourself or get it done at a framers?
Lovely update @Charly27 - that seems to have stitched up really quickly.
I did some more Haberdashery Shop at the weekend. It's very slow going but I'm persevering. Might do some BABS as I go along as this design seems to have a fair bit! Photo to follow from my phone.
I'm off hiking again on Friday however ASLEF are striking so instead of getting the train I'd book from London to Lancaster, DSis and I are having to stay overnight in London on Thursday and get a megabus (I could weep) during the day. Means we get to Lancaster around 3pm then need to walk 10 miles for our first day. Unfortunate but nothing I can do about it. We are mainly walking canal side this time so I'm hoping to see dragonflies and mayflies (my favourites) along the way.
Hope you're all doing okay.

Haberdashery shop coming along well. I could do with a yard of long fringing if your shopkeeper has some
I reckon I'll hand mine in, we haven't really tried framing

Great finish Daisy, good progress coxy and charly.
I am around 800 stitches away from finishing the cherry blossom, but I took a small rest to stitch up a pattern I have had for a while. Stitched on 16 count Aida and I really like the coverage.
I also got some samples of evenweave and linin, but it appears I really prefer stitching on Aida although I like the finish on evenweave. But I like finishing projects, and think evenweave would really slow my stitching down.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1
