Hi @Lanky_larry, we haven’t spoken before, but I just wanted to send you huge hugs and support for the maelstrom of admin and grief you will have found yourself pushed into.If you haven’t come across Redofromstart’s thread you might find it helpful. She lost her life-partner a few months ago and has posted in quite a bit of detail about her experiences with both the admin 🙄 and the grief 💔. This is her thread:

So sorry to hear your news, I know it wasn't unexpected but that doesn't lessen the trauma in my experience. I hope you have good and kind support IRL too. This is not an easy time of year when you have lost a loved one, my OH died in December a few years ago and its still tricky navigating the festive season. Hugs to you x1

Thanks all, its been (and still is) rough but with a house to sell / buy and the loss of the main income of our household I need to make sure my finances are as best as I can make them, so back to the place I know gives me the best chance.Widowed November 2024
