  • Yes, @Keedie, same as us. Its a balancing act between paying off debt & building up savings. We're concentrating more on mortgage 1st, as all the old credit card debts are now no interest. So they are going down very slowly but I do intend to make better inroads into them next year as well.

  • I think I may have missed a PAD somewhere.
Today there has been £7 to savings (bills month ahead)
    £28.13 to debt/christmas installment plan/scheme thing.

    total: £35.13.

@Makingabobor2 that's a really good use of the money - even if it may not 100% feel like it as the gain isn't an immediate tangible thing (just me?) the satisfaction and relief of making a big dent must be good.

  • Back again, 77p to round up. (Have a newer starling bank account to separate out groceries and other regular personal spending / saving pots that need to be used regularly.) So am trying round ups. Might drive me crackers with YNAB accounting and because I have been accounting for every single penny literally, will find a way. Used to do plum, got to complex, and drove me crazy mentally calculating what I had, so we'll see).

Wanted to try round ups as used to do it when I paid mostly in cash, change periodically went in the change jar - lifelong habit, I miss my giant whiskey bottle of change!

Updated total for today is: £35.90.  Which makes me happy, but I might put another 10p in to make it a neat figure.
&yes I'm one of those sad, sad people whose day is made if she gets the petrol pump to a nice, round exact £1 figure!!
