You just need to update to the latest XBMC build. Download it unzip, ftp into your current XBMC dashlocation and copy the UserData folder from the Xbox into the new build on your PC HD. Switch to an alternate Dash on the Xbox so that you can delete and replace all the XBMC files via ftp. This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

Although these xbox's from Game are a steal at £20, make sure you test the box thoroughly after you have got one. I bought 2, the first was fine, but the 2nd the DVD drive had gone, replaced that and the controller adapter cables (the little short ones) were missing, and finally I got a good one. I don't think Game test any that they get in and people return duff xbox's.

I read about this on another forum - apparently the motherboard uses a capacitor in stead of a battery, so it can only hold its memory for about 4 hours.
It's been theorised that if you located the capacitor, and replace it with a battery, you may be able to ext5end this time - but it seems like a lot of work, and I can't find anyone who claims to have tried it...0 -
thanks for the info greatly appreciated.0

Oh, if anybody still wants one of these, I have one with around 6 games that I can let you have for about £30 ...
But no sales are allowed on here so PM me if you want it and we can arrange something off-site0
