Bought one in Coventry Arena Park. I phoned and they told me they had two outback. I arrived at the store and they said they had none, but when I told them I had phoned they went and found them.

I asked does it have a games controller and was told yes, but he sealed the box up without letting me see the contents. Arrived home and opened it, no games controller. Pain! I'll see what they say tomorrow.

Not really much use without a games controller.

Picked one up from the Game in Wimbledon, shop assistant went and got one from the back of the store, £19.98. My unit wasn't it such great condition yet, haven't tested it at this stage yet.
  • Never owned a console before but considering this. Thing is will it work on the small TV in my room? The only sockets it's got are a SCART (I think) and an aerial socket. So can I still connect an Xbox to this?

Walked past the Macclesfield store this morning & it was far too busy to go in and start asking silly questions like this :D
  • all is good, went to get it, black one with controller in box, only problem is its the 3 coloured plugs rather than scart, got that sorted cos my tv in room has the 3 plug things.,

    love the xbox!!!!!!
    got blink for £7.99
    !!!
    total £27.97!!!!

You should be able to pickup a scart adaptor for a few quid.

Oh and some people are under the impression you can use this like a pvr....you can't unless you network it to a media centre enabled pc...........at least thats my understanding
