Got a black one with 2 controllers, a power cable, scart lead and dvd remote from Chorley for £19.98. They had 15 left.
It was faulty originally so swapped it for another which is fine. Get them to test it in the shop first.0 -
I went in today at about 1pm and it was very busy, I asked the manager who was standing about and he said they have them in, just que up and ask at the counter, Looks in decent condition, One controller, and a scart adaptor and power cable, Thats about it, not botherd about the remotes though, I got it for the media center install.

Splinter cell original game, (maybe others), a memory card and a crossover cable.
There is plenty of advice on various websites for the procedure0 -

I beleive you can also use a modified USB adapter cable, and USB memory stick but thats not so reliable.
A second hand 8mb Xbox memory stick should only be £2 from behind the counter of Gamestation type of shop.0 -
EDIT: Just bought an origional for £3.70. Although not get to do it tomorrow, Will be after christmas when it comes through the post.

Got mine - anyone know where I can pick up the following items:
- A wireless network card for the xbox
- A s-vid (yellow from 3 way composite) to VGA cable so I can use the ex-bochs through one of my old CRT'sAlcohol-free to be debt-free (26/09/2014) :beer:0 -

What the hell is the crossover cable for??????
Modded mine last year and I have never needed a cross over cable....0
