Just bought a crystal one from the Darlington shop. The manager told me that there's about 4 or 5 left and they're mostly crystal units.
Happy Xbox shopping folks!0 -

More likely if you have installed a 120GB hardrive.
Got it linked up to a lynksis wet11 Ethernet bridge so everything can be done wirelessly... Also for large data transferes I use DVD-RW..

I did mine about 7 years ago when 320GB drives were not in exsitance for Xbox's and nor was the softmod.
I guess the cable is not essential for the majority these days.0 -
Bought one from Spalding Store for family Xmas present. They had several in stock.0

Thankyou for the tip- got one today in Colchester, they are not advertised anywhere you have to ask.
I was told they would be between 30 and 40 pounds, and eventually had it confirmed at £34.99
when scanned at the till it was £19.98 and the assistant had to check with another staff member as he did't beleive it himself:beer:0 -
Calling all South Londoners! I just got mine in the Lewisham Branch of GAME. Don't bother going to the big one on the corner. It still comes up £35 there. Go in to the branch in the shopping centre. Cue the surprised till assistant. "Yeah, I know it's £19.98!" None in the Oxford Street branches or in the one in Debenhams Oxford Street.0

Ok, I bought 3 from Game Bournemouth, one for me and one each for daughters at uni. Also bought a copy of Splinter Cell for 98p.
I have softmodded one as per instructions in links, and installed XBMC which does everything is says on the tin. But! the text on the screen is terrible! I suspect things are not set up for PAL, but I can't find help anywhere.
Could someone who has XBMC tell me what it looks like on screen so I know if I should expect better?
TaHere's how to do the XBMC upgrade

For £20 it's an incredible media player. I use it every day and think the interface is better for remote-control sofa use than anything on the PC. Probably not as good as the mac mini but about 15 times cheaper!
You can easily connect your xbox to you home network (it has a standard network port), so you watch files shared from your pc. This is the main way I use it and it works flawlessly every day.
Love how XBMC goes on the internet to look stuff up as needed too. For example, the main menu scrolls live news stories from RSS feeds of your choice across the bottom of the screen. Also, if you have divx movies on your xbox/network then it'll go get all the info from IMDB, so you have a movie description, thumbnail, actor names etc.0 -
Picked one up from the Buxton store today, the cheeky !!!!!!s had them on the shelf at £34.99 even though they were £29.99 two days ago! Got it for £19.99 though so all is good!!!0
