I had to go to the Post Office late this afternoon and was rather dreading it because the last couple of times I've been it was so busy that I had to wait more than 30mins for my number to be called so I arranged my route to take me past my favourite BHF shop on the way home.
I found a pretty scarf with poppies and cornflowers on it which will be useful for next month's Remembrance Day as well as being nice enough to be worn at other times of the year too, £3, two more of the Australian Women's Weekly home library series, £1 each, the Oxford book of American short stories, £2, Phil Vickery's gluten free cookbook, £2.50, and a circular jigsaw, £2, for when the weather is horrible later this winter.

@goldfinches I love the scarf! I've never seen a jigsaw like that either. I like doing the complicated ones with friends over a chat and a bottle of wine...or two (hic) to add some interest
