Charity shops in Shrewsbury anyone?  I'll be there Thursday to Monday although I'm in a conference Friday afternoon and most of Saturday.  OH has gotten as far as finding out there's a "hifi" shop which means this may be an expensive trip.
Loads just off Pride Hill and on High Street and Wyle Cop. IMHO the local charity ones are nicer than the chains. Also a few on the outskirts that I haven’t visited. Lucky you: Shrewsbury is lovely: a recent discovery for us. If you’re eating out i would highly recommend the Golden Cross and Csons which are both great.
