Christmas is always expensive so nice to have a nice little pot saved up - didn't realy think the logistics through though when setting my target, especially as the biggest lump should be in December. The more I think about it the more I'm drawn to a set monthly amount - easier to budget that way.Debt Free Wannabe by 1 December 2027

i like you needed a budget to make this work, i changed to saving £2 per day and putting it in on the 1st of each month, what it means is your last payment for the year would be december 1st 2024.
you have 366 days next year minus 31 dec days making 335 x 2 = 670

Morning everyone,
That's a good way to look at it @geordiejon I might do that next year if I'm still in a position to save (VR from 30 November so depends on how long I'm out of work....)
Here is my regular Friday update. This week my random number picker has given me:
88, 341, 247, 345, 183, 288 and 246 = 1738 so £17.28 going into the pot.
#45 new total is £419.78
Many thanks to @enthusiasticsaver for keeping us in order!!

Last Friday before Septembers personal spends hit my bank account and I have moved £15.99 over to my savings space to cover the days from 2.64 - 2.69.
So 22 days in total coloured in for August and £59.00 paid in. £424.00 in total now.
I need to up to an average of £60 a month for the next 4 months to hit the target.

What a kind wife you have @geordiejon
Last week of August. It has been a pretty long month I think not helped by the changeable weather. Payday or pension day this Friday so Septembers contribution will be going in then.
