As posted earlier, I’m doing it slightly unconventionally, day 1 plus day 365, then day 2 plus 364, day 3 plus 363 and so on. £3.66 a day, so have saved £54.90 so far and the task will be over in 183 days.
Still moving £3.66 a day into a separate account, 21 days £76.86. Reckon I have only another 162 days for the final payment into my ‘365 1p a day in double time’ challenge.
     😏
Well that’s January completed on my ‘meeting in the middle’  challenge - 31 days @ £3.66 = £113.46. Reckon I’ll be finished on 2/3 July 👍

Thank you ES - #17 reporting in

I have decided will report monthly, but am keeping track daily - so far my PMA (Positive moneysaving attitude) has resulted in savings in excess of what is needed but that is mainly because my DS is on PIP and got the £150 government energy payment which we agreed at my PMA suggestion should go to the bill and not to him!!

I am working down my pre-picked list of random numbers and Jan's total is £54.39 to my Bonus saver  (am already topping up reg savers so this will do).  This is about half of the reverse countdown total so that feels about right.
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
