  • Well that's January finished for me

    #33 £77.73.

Started off with the high numbers then switched to some low ones with the pennies in my account, rounding down to the pound or 50p. Then managed to add another couple of high ones yesterday and today.
I'm tracking on a spreadsheet and will use a different colour for each month.

I love this way of doing the challenge and using a diff colour each month will be great. I had planned something v similar, but i then switched to a weekly amount into a saving account for ease!!

That is an impressive and colourful visual display there.  Puts  my hand coloured in chart to shame :)

Great saving for month 1 too.  Spreadsheet updated.

Good morning everyone to the last day of January 2023 and last chance to update for this month.  We have had some impressive savings already reported for the month and collectively so far we are up to £2635 over the 100 savers booked on to the challenge.  You are all fantastic.

There have been some great ideas so far from random number picking to  coloured spreadsheets to record each month separately and it is fantastic to see how many have embraced the challenge. My pearl of wisdom is that I have opened the Yorkshire BS Christmas regular saver to save my pennies in although I am topping it up with other savings to take advantage of the 4.5%.

I will update tonight with any reports from later on today and tomorrow we go on to February so if you are reporting for January later on in the week please make that clear by emboldening number and amount as usual and stating the month you are reporting for.
