Good Morning.
7:10am and feeling like a rather productive morning already. £2.25 survey was waiting for me on Prolific as soon as I switched the laptop on, which paid immediately. I checked my emails and I had a response from BA about my claim. They are claiming my flight was delayed due to thunderstorms in the area, the flight was cancelled 25 hours before departure, so I'm a little confused by that. I've tried looking how many other flights were cancelled into Heathrow that were due to land the same time as ours but I can't seem to find that. Apparently they can't use adverse weather as the reason for delay if no other flights were cancelled the same time. They did however agree to pay our out of pocket expenses, they were only £44.12 but it's better than nothing. I should get that in the next 14 days.
Have a good day!!

I feel like I have so much to say today but I'll try and keep it short.
The kitchen payment went out today.......Look at my signature..... Over 12k paid off and now in the £53k bracket. The aim in by the end of August to get it to £51k, quite at target but I am determined to get there.
I rejoined Pinecone Research last night, they were always really good from what I remember, not frequent surveys but interesting ones when they did come and good payers too so I'll let you know how that goes. I also joined another one, haven't really played about with that one but it has good reviews on Trustpilot.
I completed a mystery shop yesterday evening. I had £27 in the wallet so I cashed that out this morning and will add it when its in the bank. I also have £12 to cash out on Prolific, I completed a survey for a whopping £13 last night that hasn't paid out yet.
I had an email on Monday kicking me out of Shoppix, they have too many panelists apparently. I was 1200 points away from a £10 voucher so they gave me them points, I'm just waiting for the £10 to show up in Paypal.
DH had a delivery of, shall we say trees yesterday. He said he was getting logs ready for the winter and they were cheap so he sold them to me. Well these big massive tree trunks showed up that he needs to cut himself, he can't even lift them. But a good job he has the tools to sort them out and there should be enough for a couple of winters.

Your debt is on the high side compared to other diaries I read but you're making such good progress. When's your estimated DFD?
I've heard a lot of good things about pinecone but they don't want new members, or not via their website anyway.
Funny about the trees, it's good he has the tools available 😀

@jokono I thought that but I found a link and they accepted me straight away. I can send it to you if you like.
I know my debt is really high and sometimes I see others with lower debts and feel like I'll never be debt free but we each have our own challenges whatever the figure. I haven't set myself an official debt free date, if I could maintain the level of payments that I pay now then end of 2026 would be the target date but I'm not too sure thats feasible long term. We are having to throw more at it than we are completely comfortable with at the moment so that we can pay off the CC before the 0% ends.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

Yes please for the link!
I'm starting to feel a bit of burnout, I've been throwing almost everything at debt for almost 3 years now and I am starting to feel my life is passing away without me realising. I need to change focus I think.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

I can see by your signature you are doing amazingly well. That wasn't exactly a small debt to start with. Do you ever get tempted to throw all your saving to your debt and just pay it off?Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

Good morning.
7:17am and a very productive morning already, even though I haven't got up yet.
Today my car has a major service so I have to drop it off and then I will have to work from home. Pros of it being a company car...theres no cost to me!! I'm going to leave a little early as I have picked up a MS on the way to garage that will take around 30 mins to complete.
I had £39.85 waiting in my account from a mixture of MS payments and Prolific. That has all been paid to FIL, I will work out if I'm on track later on. I had my first Pinecone survey this morning, I didn't expect one for a while so it was a nice surprise when I got the email, thats £3 but its not showing yet. I have also completed £4.50 worth of surveys on Prolific. I find it better first thing in the morning, maybe not so many people scrambling to get them.
Some good news yesterday, DH put in for transfer and it seems like he got it. It will be a £6k pay rise and he will be based only 1 mile away from home so our fuel costs will be next to nothing. Due to the time of day he works, walking wouldn't be an option as he can just about get up in time now. That with me expecting a rise in October is good news for the debt repayments.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42
