Good evening.
I can't wait for tomorrow, while its been a quick week, works been so busy I don't feel like I've had any time to myself.
Today, I've received £5.42 from Prolific, that been paid to the FIL, I also did 2 mystery shops for £24 but they won't be payable for a while but that will be paid to him as soon as I get it. I'm hoping to get another £18 before the kitchen payment comes out on the 21st as that will take me into the £53k bracket. I'm wishing the months away until I will be in the £40k's. That will feel like a major milestone!!2 -
Its Friday!!!
Although I have woken up to find that one of the mystery shops I did last night has just disappeared from being in review and is back available but locked to me. I have contacted support but theres been some technical error somewhere so I hope they can sort it. I have another one on my way home from work, and I'm not doing it if the same is going to happen again.

The weekend is here and I don't really have a lot of plans. DH is in work today so I will probably get on with a bit of housework and take the dog for a walk if it stays fine. I may get around to listing a couple of things on Vinted at long last.
I still haven't had any luck sorting out that mystery shop, they tried to reassign it in the hope the data may come back but I didn't see the message in time and now I have to wait another 12 hours for a further response.
I have managed to cash out £6.86 from Prolific today, like always thats gone straight to FIL, it still feels like I'll be a long way off paying that back though. I will have to work out a percentage of how I'm getting along later. I have another £7 pending, hopefully that will become payable over the weekend.
It's only 12 days until the Virgin CC will be paid off in full, I can't wait for that day as things are a bit tight putting £642 a month towards that. If I could snowball that to the Sainsburys card, I would as that would mean the card would be paid off in April instead of September but I just don't think we can sustain a payment that high for so long. We will see though.
Have a good weekend everyone, I may pop back in later on.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

I don't know where the day has gone today, it's been a slightly productive day, I've completed £3.55 worth of surveys on Prolific and managed to salvage that mystery shop. Theres also £5.08 ready to pay out on Prolific, it hasn't been 24 hours since my last payout so I'll withdraw that this evening.
I've been to do the weekly shop, I had a £6 for £30 for the local supermarket, plus DH works for this supermarket and gets 30% discount so I had £85 worth of shopping for £48. While putting it away I made. a list of all the dinners it wold make and there is actually enough for 14 days worth of dinners there, will just need a few bits of fresh to top it up, but I'm pretty pleased with that.
The weather has been horrendous today, the dog has also developed a fear of the wind and rain now and has either been down the side of the settee shaking like a leaf or following me every time I move. She's always been a timid dog, scared of fireworks, raised voices, washing machine, the list could go on but this is a new one and I'm not really sure what I can do to help her. She had to go to my mothers for me to go shopping but we can't be doing that all the time.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

I was a little late rising this morning, the dog didn't wake me until 8:40 which is completely not like her, the lack of sleep yesterday from the storms must have caught up with her.
I have spent a little time looking through the mystery shopping sights to see if there is anything I can pick up today but theres nothing of interest, so quiet day in the house it is.
£3.20 from Prolific became payable overnight, so know I'm annoyed I withdrew £5.08 last night as I don't have much else pending that will take me over the £5 cash out.
I forgot to mention that I am going to be spending a lot of time working in Scotland throughout August, as it is such a long drive for me going up on the Monday and coming home on the Friday will mean only 3 days of actual working for me so I have been offered overtime to travel on the Sunday. Being salaried, I never get the opportunity to earn overtime so I bit his hand off, that should bring me an extra £500 after tax in my September pay which I'm really pleased about.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

Yesterday turned in a bit of a spendy day. Totally our own fault but DH worked all weekend, I worked all week so we got to last night and just thought lets go out for a couple of hours to spend some time together. We only spent £30 but it was £30 that wasn't budgeted so tonight I will have to have a play about with YNAB and see where it can be pulled from.
Theres not a lot else going on today, Its Monday......boooo!! So the start of the long slog until Friday, although I know I'm more fortunate than most as I actually enjoy going to work.
I really need to up my game this month with making my £5 extra a day, I am very behind and its only month 2 of doing it. I'm sure I'll come up with something though.
Have a great Monday everyone.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

Morning just catching up, haven’t been getting emails when people post so that’s annoying I wonder if it’s an issue with email or this new format, your doing really well with the debt busting, poor little dog, is she getting old? Ours became extremely frightened of noise as she got old and deaf, I think she was so used to hardly hearing anything and the things she could hear didn’t sound right anymore, she was always taken on shoots and never cared about loud bangs but then she became terrified of fireworks and loud bangs because of course her world had become very quiet, possibly yours has something similar.

I don't think her hearing is the problem, she's only just gone 6 and she can hear the lid clunk on her biscuit car 10 miles away
. I had Alexa play her classical music for dogs and that seemed to help her, she gone really clingy as well, she used to be more of a loner until the last few weeks.
