i have absolutely nothing to report today. I am in that quiet time between all payments being made patiently waiting for payday on Thursday. I won't be able to make the payment to the Virgin card until I return from holidays as the statement generates on the 4th and if I pay before they will be waiting for more money before I get paid next month. I am so looking forward to Saturday when I can say that CC1 will be officially paid off this month. Just in time for the 0% deal ending. Theres something quite satisfying about that and makes me wonder about if I should pay my laptop off, approx £573, my ex employer, approx £700 and the TV, approx £800. I could potentially lose all these in the next 4 months if I just pay the minimum to all the others but I think was I will save per month, won't really be worth it. It will just be the satisfaction of having less creditors.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

So I say I have nothing to report and it all happens......
A survey, I did about 3 weeks ago on Prolific finally paid, I did it as a bonus survey so when it didn't pay, I thought Id been conned but they replied to my message after weeks this evening and paid me £14.00 added to what I already had pending, I cashed out £16.93. Thats going straight to the FIL
£43.37/£2700.00
Another win is I finally got into my creation account (laptop), I've been trying to do it for ages since @Jrcoal5 told me about making over payments online but I just couldn't reset the password, well it turns out, I had my laptop a good 6 months before I thought and my total amount owed is £150.50 less than I thought.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

Oooh I am so glad you managed to get into the creation account and have a lovely surprise of owing less than you thought! I can totally understand wanting to pay off those small amounts to have less things to owe on, it’s so satisfying ticking something off, I think I would be tempted down that route xxPay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest

@Jrcoal5 I think I'm decided. My left over money from June alone will half my creation debt. Do they just shorten the agreement term or lower the direct debit if you over pay?Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

My direct debit remained the same amount regardless of what I paid so just knocked the term down, it’s easy to pay and the nice thing is is reduces what you owe on the screen balance immediately rather than having to wait a few days to see it go down xPay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest

Happy payday eve to me!! I actually can't wait to to do all my budgeting in the morning.
I had my First Direct switch bonus today, I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do with it. My DH's bonus should also be in by Tuesday next week so that will be £350 that will only leave me short by about £100 to clear my laptop but part of me thinks I should put it to clear the FIL. I really don't know what to do.I'll have a think about that.
I've also managed about £17 of Prolific surveys today but they are yet to pay. Other than that, its been a quiet day.

So it didn't take me long. I've decided to pay it off the loan from the FIL. I know this may not make sense to many but if you knew my inlaws you would understand why.
I now have over £500 in the pot for him so that 5% of the way there. Its staying in my bank account as he doesn't want it in dribs and drabs. He wants it all by such and such a date. Maybe that gives you a bit more understanding.
2 more sleeps to holidays and it really doesn't feel like I'm going anywhere. A June round up is on its way!!

Well how did June end???
- I had £211.96 left over, that will be paid to FIL when it is actually June 30th
- The debt figure went down by £1,414, may be a little extra with the £211
- I have a total of £756 saved, this has gone down a lot but we have bought flights for April and accounted for our holiday spending money this month!
